This first post will cover some general subjects that will later be discussed in more detail, one subject per post. I recommend that you see the Google Groups archives for alt.support.impotence for many thousands of posts from people who share their concerns and solutions. I also recommend impotence solutions to men who are not ordinarily impotent because some of the remedies might enhance the pleasure thatthey already experience. The impotence remedies that I'm aware of are as follows: Vacuum and constrictive devices (cock rings). Viagra type medicines including yohimbine, Cialis and vardenafil. Libido increasing substances such as Uprima. Testosterone increasing substances. Estrogen reducing substances. Injectables such as Caverject and TriMix. There is considerable overlap between these categories. For example, testosterone is a very big subject and affects erections, libido, and mood. For many men, their erections automatically triggers strong libido responses. Your responses to this first post will determine which subjects I cover first. |

Any of the substances that increase testosterone are likely (but not certain) to increase desire, thereby also improving erections for many men. They include testosterone injections, patches, gels, prohormones, and estrogen reducing substances. The last two are available at some shops that sell nutritional supplements, especially those catering to bodybuilders, andon the internet. The injections had always been the most effective and were usually applied by a doctor in two week intervals, but now Androgel (a thin jelly that you spread on your skin) is widely considered more effective because it is applied daily, providing a steadier level of testosterone. The prohormones include 4-androstenediol and androstedione. These are usually taken orally, but there are topical, sublingual, and nasal versions. Anything that increases testosterone has a tendency to also increase estrogen (men have small amounts of the female hormone, estrogen). But there are substances that help reduce estrogen, such as Chrysin, DIM, arimidex, and 6-OXO. Some men only take these substances, and by reducing the amounts of testosterone that convert to estrogen, suceed in incresing testosterone. Uprima is intended to promote erections, but is the only such medicine (that I'm aware of) that increases desire directly. The generic is apomorphine. Claims are made for yohimbe as an aid for erections and desire, and some brands work quite well for some people, but it is best to get the active ingredient, yohimbine. Uprima, apomorphine, yohimbine are available from the internet, as is yohimbe which is also available in some vitamin shops where legal. Everyone has heard of Viagra (the generic is sildenafil), but Cialis (the generic is tadalafil) and vardenafil also work directly to promote erections. These can all be purchased on the internet or from foreign chemical companies without a prescription. I will list providers in a separate post (or perhaps a separate post for each category)because it will take me a while to gather the information, and the posts will be quite lengthy. |

I will be referring you to various web sites that are often difficult to navigate, but persevere and you will succeed. Also, please remember that the various companies use many different names for the same products and different spellings for the same names.
Viagra is the best known impotence remedy, normally requires a prescription, and usually costs $10.00 per dose. Some men have experienced various negative side affects, such as headaches, visual disturbances, dizziness, nasal congestion, and others. Since Viagra lowers blood pressure, there is risk for men who use certain heart medicines or by people who use “poppers” (nitrites). The generic is sildenafil, which is available at many web sites without a prescription for much less. I have had good results from the following website: http://SPAN style=COLOR: purple"> fa...ical.com//SPAN Sildenafil (generic Viagra) $2.08 per tablet. Cialis (its generic is tadalafil) is a new erection medicine recently introduced in <st1 lace>Europe</st1 lace>, but not yet FDA approved in the <st1:country-region><st1 lace>USA</st1 lace></st1:country-region>. Its effect starts more quickly than Viagra and lasts about 24 hours. It usually costs about $15.00 per 20 mg tablet. There are similar side effects to Viagra.http://face=Times New Roman color=#0...w.meds2go.com/ is the home page for the next two products, but I list them under the specific web pages because it’s difficult to navigate from the home page. Nonetheless, this is an interesting site, and offers prescriptions to members (for a fee). I have ordered products from this site with good results. If you wish to access the products from the home page, click on RX Online Prescriptions, then Generics. http://SPAN style=COLOR: purple"> fa...2D2333865/SPAN Tadalafil ((the generic of Cialis, tadenafil on this web site) $6 per 30 mg tablet (Cialis has only 20 mg.) Uprima (its generic is apomorphine, not at all similar to morphine) is another erection medicine from <st1 lace>Europe</st1 lace>, but it acts directly on the area of the brain responsible for basic emotions, including desire. It’s available on the above web site for about $15.00 per dose (one sublingual tablet), but so is the generic. There are similar side effects to Viagra. http://face=Times New Roman color=#0...9447&2D2384439 Apomorphine 3 or 6 mg $2.15per sublingual tablet. (Sublingual means that you let it dissolve under your tongue.) Levitra (its generic is verdenafil) is available on many web sites, including http://SPAN style=COLOR: purple"> fa...s2go.com//SPAN , but I did not like the generic and only mention it for the dedicated researcher. If you are unable to use get to the above web pages directly, go to http://face=Times New Roman color=#0...w.meds2go.com/ , click on RX Online Prescriptions, the click on Generics or Specials. Prohormones are substances that turn into testosterone in your body, and testosterone plays an important role regarding erections and desire. Androstenediol (sometimes referred to as 4-AD) (not to be confused with androstenedione) is generally considered the best prohormone for sexual purposes. I’ve often ordered androstenediol in powder form (capsules or also available but cost more per dose) from Vitanet at the following web site: http://face=Times New Roman color=#0...net/index.html Prohormones (plus many other products) are also available at the next two web sites, but I list them mainly because they sell anti-estrogen products. All men have a small amount of estrogen, and sometimes enough to reduce their sexual capabilities. When you increase your normal testosterone, some the increase turns (aromatizes) into estrogen, but there are substances that combat this. I’ve gotten the best results from 6-OXO, which is available in powder form at the following site: http://SPAN style=COLOR: purple"> fa...ts_id=674/SPAN Go to the home page or click on Products to see the capsule form or many kinds of prohormones and ingredients to compound your own substances. The next web site offers Chrysin (another effective anti-estrogen) in powder form: http://SPAN style=COLOR: purple"> fa...270_22875/SPAN Good luck. |
