Is it possible to take Codeine and Tramadol Simultaniously without large risks etc?

SWIM has tried up to 250mg of codeine which was very intese and euphoric although horrible the next day.

SWIM has also tried up to 150mg of Tramadol which made him feel much milder Euphoria but for a prolonged time.

SWIM thinks combining these two minus a bit from the dosage will give a very very nice evening however knows that the doctor says never ever to take them both simultaniously due to respiritory stuff.

ANy advice welcome...

gremlin182 is an unknown quantity at this point

Your doctor knows little about Tramadol then. No one knows WHY it works, just that it works at the Mu (mew) receptor which is the opiate receptor. It is not an opiate, and CANNOT, repeat, CANNOT caue respritory depression, EVER. Taking an over dose of tramadol will give you a "serotonin syndrome", you will feel shaky, anxious, nauseated, and feel like coming out of your skin. Best hting to do is lay in a dark room, with no stimuli and try to go to sleep to get over the hump.

So mix the two to your hearts content, but no alcohol!!! That WILL react with the codeine!

Hope this helps.
