Music A Drug For Metal Music

Techno and elecrtonic music goes well with most of drugs. Also many reggae, funk, pop songs, and much other music goes well with smoking pot. But what drug goes well with metal music, like Pantera, Korn or Morbid Angel for example? There is one - alcohol, but are there any more?

I think that being sober goes best with heavy metal. It sucks you in when you're sober and becomes a drug in itself. But if you have to choose one, i'd go with a little vodka.

Stimulents make metal sound better to swim. Alcohol seems to go well, as alcohol can bring out the more agressive nature in a person.

i think crack as it gives feeling of total euphoria, rush, self confidence would be the best at some kind of death metal brutal concert. Moshing and pogo would feel definetly good.

i would say get fucking trashed on strong cheap beer, whiskey, coke, or
speed and crank up the fuckin motorhead. i dunno about korn and all
that slipknot nu-metal shit but old 80s metal was built on jack daniels
and cocaine.

i dont usually listen to stuff that hard, i find music inflames
temperment, and i dont like to be angry or down. But i still
enjoy a good metallica, acdc, iron maiden, ect. IMO the best drug
for it is speed/amphetamines, coke, whiskey/alcohol, ect. I get
pretty obnoxious on the alcohol/benzo combo for some reason so i try to
not do that if im gonna be with people who would get offended, i guess
i just loose that instinct that tells you "dude dont say that".

Swim says Berzerker mixes well with X as it has some electronic elements (think gabber+deathmetal).


Arcturus , Devil Doll, Atrox, and other avant garde bands go well with LSD.


As far as nu-metal and the likes, Swim hates it, but says alcohol or stimulants make it bearable.

I remember once or twice I smoked pot and listened to black metal (dunno what band, cradle of filth or sth) and I had very nice experience. Weed and black metal go well together, you can intensify your imagination (imagine battles, wars, fantasy lanscapes etc). But it has to be melodic, the best symphonic, black metal.

sleaze rock (motley crue, gnr, poison)-alcohol,cocaine, x, meth


alice in chains (theyre in a class all by themselves because if heroin made a sound, this would be it)-heroin/morphine, alcohol, strong benzos


death, thrash, speed metal (old metallica, slayer, dark angel, etc)-alcohol, amphetamine, frequent pcp use, misc opiates


industrial (nin, some zombie, manson, etc)-ketamine, dxm, occasional pcp usage


classic rock (zep, bad company, etc)-alcohol, weed


stoner rock (blind melon, janes addiction, etc)-weed, lsd


power pop (good charlotte, simple plan)-a lot of stuff, because thats what it would take to force myself to listen to this crap

but if your doing the shitiest of drugs its a good probability that your listening to the shittiest of music

my sugestion if you get some better drugs and better music.
