according to many people, there's a cocaine explosion in France and many other places in europe, due to the fact that some groups are re-orientating distribution towards europe. Most comes via spain, the netherlands, and the west indies but some arrives directly through major ports.

Coke is now part of the french nightlife scene more then ever, and seeing a 10 people queue outside of the men's room ( though urinals are presents) is a frequent sight in some clubs. Cost is usally 70/60 euros a gram.

quality however stays quite low, and availability... well SWIM isn't very well placed to mention this, no connections, dried up for months. But it's there mind you !

cheers

Where do you come from ? Don't forget that any drug trend discussed by mass medias tends to be total bullshit.

But the fact is, that in France as in any other place, coke is becoming a more acceptable drug and many people argue that it's because of the "glamour"/chic image that show business diffuses about this drug.

And I ask myself why our societies tends to let pass such image about coke on one side and still demonize on the other side lots of less harmful drugs than cocaïne...

The price is high, the addiction risks are high too and the trip lasts one or two hours. The ratio advantages/disadvantage seems so low for me, that I simply prefer forgetting this shit...... For Sick Jack, coke doesn't exist

forementioned place. eyewitness accounts actually, for the most part.

it's now sold by people which up to 5 years ago would only focus on hash and heroin. It's now sold in the cités, french suburban "ghettos" if you like.

I believe all drugs should be legalized and dealt with, because they all have their dangers and issues.

The price is high, the addiction risks are high too and the trip lasts one or two hours. The ratio advantages/disadvantage seems so low for me, that I simply prefer forgetting this shit...... For Sick Jack, coke doesn't exist

somepeople just grew tired of hallucinogensmdma and cannabis. for some, coke is a "clean" hedonistic high, which requires a little effort to control, but as long as lifestyle is healthy and quantities moderate, is quite rewarding. SWIM would rather take stimulants than be tripping, spaced out or stoned, because having done that for some time the interest is lost, especially for the cannabis high which is felt asextremily boring,to each his own. This need for "props" is probably a consequence of growing old

unbelievably easy to find. also, i was in berlin a little over a year
ago, and one club i went into, the bartenders offered it to you like it
wasnt any big deal. just my 2 cents though, feel free to flame me.

I notice as well that the price of coke decreased since the last 5 years in France.

At the end of the 90s the price was around 150 euros/grams.

The low price help the growing of this substance even the teennagers is able to buy it.
