Was wondering if someone had an idea on how the new "ask for id, need your signature" system works as far as swim is wondering what would be the best way to go about buying this stuff.SWIM surely dont feel comfortablepurchasing pseudo at the store right down the street where it would seem the local police would have direct involvement in this data if they should want to look at it.

What if SWIM purchased in a different county within the same state. How much safer would this be?

And what if SWIM purchased in a different state all together, how much safer would this be?

Seems buying in another state that the only way it seems the only part of the law that could get involved would be federal authorities and not your local task forces.

I hope someone understands what im trying to ask here. Your insight is appreciated Thanks

Wal-mart policy is three boxes per week (7 con days?/Mon thru Sun?)And the signatures are on computerized file..(CC scanner boxes)
Wal-greens,Eckerds, and the like are running a paper log book that they are changing out periodically...(weekly?)
Sunday, Swis got some allergy shit at K-Mart for the little stroks and waited while the girl flipped through all four pages looking for Stroks signature....

Wal-Mart electronically locks the register if you over buy....VERY BAD.

Don't know other stores official policies but 2 boxes at a time seems OK, pretty sure there isn't a task force collecting and cross referencing all signature logs in a metro area... They are signing for claritin and benadryl too for cryin out loud!

Bee smart, burn some $3 gas, don't get greedy, don't enlist any help...Works for Swi?

Who knows how computers connect?? No more than 3 per week at all Wal-mart's to be safe....It's a risk to do as you suggested but as long as you are not profiled then SwiS would call it a minimal risk....Just don't go overboard at any store. The clerks have some clear cut instructions on what to do when someone buys over the limit...and SwiS doesn't want to know 'xactly what those are!!!

Almost forgot...Your ID.. Your address... Don't experiment at that address!! You know, the one you sign with..Sorry if you knew that already..but never hurts to mention!Edited by: stroknpok

There are some specific counties/cities where LE IS going thorugh the logs, I've heard about it(possibly Oklahoma?).

Wal-mart asks you to show ID and sign for DXM products, when you
question the cashier they say they have to for pseudo-ephedrine
products, showing them there is none does not change their mind.

3 bottles a week, who goes through 3 bottles a week? the
government is just saying your methlab is ok, but we want more smaller
labs instead of big hard core labs. its more entertaining when
your neighbors house is blowing up! gives that one show called
"COPS" more ratings when a meth dealers hair is on fire.

Are you talking about the recent controls that were slapped onto the PATRIOT act? Although signed into law, I think it's going to take some time (a year?) to have the system put in place. A friend of mine was not required to sign a log book yesterday when he purchased some Sudafed for his cold.

SWIM thinks SWIclanham is talking about his state laws that have already been put into effect for some time now.

And if swiy bought 3 bottles a week, signing a log everytime, swiy would surely get busted.... or so swim would think.

I think buying the normal amount is plenty if swim buys regularly whether it is needed or not. It will stock up to a good size like throwing pennies in a jar. It will be poor planing and such that will bring attention to a person, smart or dumb is no difference if swim know that he is procrastinating. In a pinch knock out some others regular purchase, ie. toothpaste or such, it will catch up to swim one day, but that day is not in jail. My friend swim preaches more than he does. But if some people can get the truth (if present) no matter who the messenger is.

yeah but if swims name is a regular in the logbook it is going to cause problems.

swim would think this logbook is there for a purpose besides scaring away methheads.
