whats the shelf life of 4-ACO-DiPT and 2C-E?
4aco-dipt and 2c-e does any one know? ifthere totally sealed from air in a cool place it should be quite a while,any thoughts?

2-CE, kept well-sealed and cold, should last longer than you. Regards the acetoxy-DiPT, it will break down quickly unless frozen in the dark in an airless container (under nitrogen or argon). UTFSE for more info on acetoxy turning into black goo.

With acetoxyl, moisture is the main killer. It tends to hydrolyze the aecetoxyl into acetic acid. And that eats the rest of the molecule quite handily. Ideally my ape, Bongo, would seal it in an airtight container with some silica gel and freeze it in the dark.

its good to keep your chems in amber glass vials rather than plastic bags.
Put the vials in a little box with a few packets of silica gel and your chems should last a long time. |

It is "unsafe" to consume any research chemical - period. Regards it becoming more toxic, no. Lowered effect. Though not by much. Assume it's as bad as ever and, to quote someone: "Buy a scale, you lazy bastard."

Can anyone explain why there is a difference in the texture, consitancy
of RC's? By this I mean that one suppliers RC's may be very fine and grainy (like salt) while anothers may be powdery and sticky, even with the same substance. I have noticed that with RC's that are more powdery tend to look bigger when weighed and the grainer ones look smaller (i.e. 15mg of a powdery rc looks like it could very well be 40mg and 15mg of a grainy one looks like it could be 5mg). This obviously makes eyeballing amounts tougher (which I don't do). |

Likely this has to due with the methods that have been employed in the final crystallization. Which solvents were used. Was it even re-crystallized? Soxhlet extractor used? So forth.
