Diphenydramine and Caffeine

Alright, I know alot of you don't like diphenhydramine, and I know its
not great for you. However, I have a few questions that I need
answered. I did search, I found nothing, sorry if this has been
asked before.

Alright, as we all know, diphenhydramine is a sedative. We also
know caffeine is a stimulant. SWIM is wondering, will taking the
two together, being a stimulant vs a sedative, hurt you any more then
if you were to have taken them say... a day apart.

SWIM has been taking about 200mg for the last week, and finally now
SWIM noticed that 200mg does nothing for him. So SWIM tried
400mg, and achieved the effects he desired. Is this because of a
built tolerance? If so, how long does it last usually?

Finally, whats the best way to combat cotton mouth, SWIM hates it.

Caffeine and diphenhydramine should not cause any serious health
complications. I HIGHLY recommend you cut down on your dosage, thats
insane. I have a heavy suspicion that using it that much is going to
come back to haunt you. Another thing, when I start using it frequently
I sometimes get bouts of very severe insomnia while I'm on it, and
delerious insomnia can be quite hellish, so be careful about that as
well.

I didn't know you could build a tolerance to benadryl this sucks now I can't even feel the effects even after taking ten pills.
I went out and bought another antihistamine that works just as well
Chlorpheniramine Maleate as least until I build a tolerance to this one
too. How long does it take for your tolerance level to a drug to go
down? I think Im gonna buy more antihistamine's like generic claritin.
If my tolerance level to benadryl ever goes down I might swith off and
on what Im taking every week. Like Benadryl one week, Chlorpheniramine
Maleate the second week, generic Claritin(Loratadine) the third week
and Dramamine the fourth. Are there any other OTC antihistamines I am
missing I really like the effect of this stuff for my anxiety's. So far
I got 4 OTC antihistamine's

OTC Antihistamine's

1.Benadryl

2.Dramamine

3.Loratadine

4.Chlorpheniramine Maleate

Can anyone else add to this list? If so it will be greatly appreciated.

Would it be alright to buy an Antihistamine that has Pseudoephedrine in it as well or is that dangerous.

I used to take high doses of diphenhydramine often. When I was taking it often I wouldn't get much visuals even at doses of 500-550mg, just severe cotton mouth and rapid heart beat. Since both diphenhydramine and caffine both increase your heart rate you should be careful combining them.

In my opinion diphenhydramine doesn't have any recreational value, just useful for allergies and taking some to help fall asleep. I never realy had any good experiences taking it, only reason i was taking it before is because hallucingens intrest me. Even when it would give me hallucinations the bad cotton mouth would ruin the experience.

Realistic hallucinations (floors turn to liquid, see insects ), + u might start hearing things. You can normally refocus your eyes and make things normal-ish, but u feel sedated so u just drift off again, pretty smart really. The insomnia thing was REALLY BAD for me, and now i wont do it again. The drug has an overall dirty feel to it so u wouldn't want to do it often

whenswimtook around 300mg of diphen for his 1st time, he noticed very very mild hallucinations, such asobjects shifting. swim alsostated thathe had severe cotton mouth and tachycardia(rapid heart beat). overall, hesaid that the experience wasn't anything he'd repeat.

Yeah its dangerous for the amount a pills you're popping. sum ppl use Pseudoephedrine for fun, and its alright to have a little during a DXM trip and maybe even a dramamine/dimenhydrinate trip. High doses of pseudoephedrine can cause irregular heartbeat, headaches, difficulty breathing, anxiety, and seizures. Make sure your only active ingrediant is dramamine/dimenhydrinate.,

when swim took about 800 she doens't remmber that day at all. except voimiting in french and passing out in a bathroom after talking with a girl that was never there.

anti cotton mouth! me too!!!! if u chew gum it can help sumtimes, but just keep water on hand

and take however much you want, its your body and obviousley you dont care about feeding it a little poison. after all, oxygen is a poison in high amounts.

swim would suggest to not go over like 700 b/c thats the highest dose that isn't partially lethal.
and take a few nodoz with it!

happy tripping!!!!!!

I'm back, p. Luckily, I got off the stuff. This stuff is VERY addicting to me. I kept increasing the dose to get the same effect.. it just wasn't good. Cheap and fun, but not safe.. NOT SAFE.

Definatly doesnt seem safe to me, good thing you got off it, very good. I can only imagine that being addicted to something like that has to be just awful, in every way shape and form.

The correct term would be al I don't need to know..SWIM has tried it once, its not for him. He still takes in mind everyones addictions are different so no offence to blindpapa but to me it seems really dirty and i think i would have to be very desperate to use it like that, I would quit all drugs before goin on that stuff.

SWIM thinks dramamine is a complete waste of time. Every single time he's used it (1 1/2 bottles each time) he turns into a completely paranoid delusional schitzophrenic for 6 freaking hours. NOT very fun IMO
