Greetings from Humboldt County California

Hey just wanted to see if you know of my home. Born and raised in good ol Humbolt County.I'm sure you have heard of it. Yes It is true about the weed up here. I recommend that you stop by when ever you can. I'm in virginia right now but hope to head home soon. If you dont stop by for the weed or shrooms stop and check out the scenery and the culture.

hmm dont believe ive been there, when i vacationed in cali i only went
to the L.A. area/orange county, lancaster(sp?), and small towns on the way to
vegas. Ive heard the name but havent heard anything about the
weed (well thats probably why the name rings a bell). How is it
there?

It's absolutly beautifull!!!! everything is within a few miles. The beach, the river, the lake , and the moutains. It's considered the best climate for growing weed in the nation LOL

wow that looks like a great place. Where is it located, northern
cali or SoCal? Whats famous about it that makes you say im sure
we have heard of it? The name rings a big bell but i cant put 2
and 2 together (go figure). Next time im in Cali i wil have to drive down there, looks beautiful.

It's pretty far north. I would say about 270 miles north of San Francisco. likeI said above it has like the perfect climate for growing very potent marijuanna. It also is about the only place in the whole world where the redwood and sequoia trees grow which are the largest trees in the world. Some over 1000 years old. They have filmed several movies here such as Outbreak, Star wars -Return of the Jedi, Jurrasic park 2, and Jennifer 8.

Humboldt County is well known in California because its where they
grow all the top notch bud. Never been there, but i've smoked

damn sounds like heaven and that is a gigantic goddamn tree if i do say
so myself. How is the Law Enforcment up there? i hear they
dont put a high priority at all on growers or smokers in northern
california. I need to visit there sometime, looks and sounds
magnificent. Wish some of that good bud would make it up into
the midwest, for a decent price at least. Small towns in the
midwest = schwag and everything else at higher prices. Real
estate expensive up there as well? Be nice to have a dream of
moving there someday.

Eureka, I found the best Pot-growing climate in the World.


I was lucky enough to be born in the SF Bay Area. Humboldt County is just a few hours up the Coast. Eureka is its main city. Marijuana is its main Industry. Pioneer Spirit is alive-and-well In Humboldt.

How come the narcs havent busted that buisness down then, if everybody knows that alot of weed is grown there?

To answer your questions about law enforcement. Weed is grown insuch abundance up in this area that they dont reallygo after joe schmo who is growing only a few plants. They still do bust the very large crops, when they can find them that is. as most of this area is all forest.


Weed has been a large part of the culutre of Humboldt County for a very long time. Every year on April 20th they have the Hemp festival up at Redwood park in Arcata. its kind of like a county fair just based around hemp. There is always people geting high at the festival and the cops wont usually bust you unless they think you are selling.


Arcata is probably the easiest place to get anything being that Humboldt State University is right there. If your ever up there just go to the Arcata plaza (which I'm told was on the cover of high times once) and ask around, you should have no problem getting what you are looking for.
