Injecting - Questions re: IM and IV dilaudid pos. gen

Hi-

A very reputable friend of SWIM's hooked him up w/ what he's told
is generic dilaudid 4's. Now SWIM has searched this site and
idthispill.com and still has some questions:



1. Pill is small, white, has a capital 'M' on one side and a 4 on the
other. SWIM knows little about dilaudids and is being told these
are "4's." Is that what these are?



2. SWIM's friend was unsure about whether the generic version of
dilaudids can or should be IV'd. Should they? What about
IM'd? Anything special to know?



3. SWIM tried IV'ing them first. Mixed crushed pill w/ distilled
water. Seemed really cloudy w/ a lot of precipitate so he used a
torch and added heat. It was still cloudy, but everything seemed
to disolve. He used a piece of cotton as a filter to suck the
liquid up into the needle and there seemed to be a bunch of white
precipitate left in the little glass vial he mixed in. Now SWIM's
no IV expert, but he thinks he did a pretty good job and tho he felt
something, he didn't feel anything amazing as he was hoping to hearing
people talk about dilaudid on previous posts.



4. So is the generic just for eating?



5. Is there something SWIM did wrong b/c the solution was milky?



6. Should SWIM suck up all the precipitate w/ the solution?
SWIM's gonna try doing that next but w/ IM. Will post results.

EDIT: Messing around a little further, and admittedly a little higher
now, SWIM is wondering if maybe he just wasn't using enough water to
dissolve the dilaudid. Still says he's not feeling it the way
he'd expect to.

SWIM would up the dose.. Swims ecperiance with D's are atleast 8 mg if your banging and 2 or 3 tiems that if your eating snorting

Yeah, and SWIM has a decent opiate tolerance from 6-10 10/325's a day
for a couple weeks too. Wasn't sure if that was directly
applicable. Thanks tho, you've given him something to think about.

I'm not sure what the color of a dillie #4 is in the states, but I know both the geniric and real dilaudid # 4's in Can. are both yellow.


maybe swim should check out another pill identifier just to make sure what swim is puttin into swim's self.

more of this already.)

These are the 4mg dilaudid's to which I was
referring.* Evidently
they're generic.* So everything I said about them
above is true,
they seem altogether unremarkable and always hear
great things about
dilaudid.* Wondering how much of a difference it
makes that
they're generic.

Hey there Beltane. The pills that you speak of are infact Dilaudid pills, the bottle would just say 4mg hydromorphone. Those exact pills are the exact same ones in which SWIM started his IV usage on. At the time he was doing a lot ofOC 80's and quite a few 100mg morphine tabs daily. The only real difference in cooking these over non-generics are the "precipitate" you spoke of.Speaking fromSWIM'S experiences (which there are quite a few threads on here, search dilaudid or dillies) 8mgs should be plenty to start with(a guesstimate considering you didn't mention your typical usage.) Just cook them like you said you did and concentrate on drawing up the liquid rather then trying to get the precipitate to dissolve. This is mostly comprised of fillers etc... SWIM used these this way daily for like three months and the rush was just as if not more intense then a lot of the "H" on the street. Swim usually did between 20-32 mgs daily this way.


***REMEMBER*** Everyones tolerance is different so take it easy Dilaudid causes many many OD's. Baby steps.

the pills mentioned above with the "m" and "4" imprints are 4mg dilaudid made by Mallinckrodt Medical Inc. if they are going to be IVed, no heat should be applied. hydromorphone breaks down at 104 degrees F. it is the only opiod, to the best of my friend's knowledge, that doesn't have to be heated when prepared for injection.
