Great movie to watch if your are into H. I've tried smoking dope but this movie makes me want to shoot up. is it really better than orgaasm ? I might not want to find out =(

I.M.H.O. it is a movie that makes me wanna shoot also, butI've got the practice of doing it already shootin , so I know what I'd be in for . As for letting a movie get you into smack, maybe there are other reasons why you want to get into it also,. Sorry , I don't mean to sound like your parent or somthing but , I'd check out other alley's or rather drugs before making the big leap to smack. But on the other hand if you do thenmabey try it first by snorting or smoking it first, before the needle.





And to answer your question , yes it somewhat resembles an orgasmic rush feeling too shoot it.

i thought requiem for a dream was pretty much shit. the only reason i
sat through it was that it involved drugs. the camera work was kind of
cool like when people are using the drugs they do the weird snap shot
deal, but the casting and storyline was so fucking ridiculous. but
trainspotting, needless to say, was fucking raw.

trainspotting isn't about heroin, it's about life in general, it just happens to revolve around heroin addicts.

i just as of last weekend saw this movie, it was pretty good. I definetly like the scene showing inside the needle etc...

i don't think it glorifies using, it more or less shows it like it is. some people are drawn to that kinda life, for whatever reasons. i was. had to find out for myself that it eventully starts to really suck. yes heroin feels great, but thereis usuallya huge price to pay in the end, up to and including one's life. i had some fun times, but really was it worth it? nah, coulda spent my time doing way better things with my life.


i've got 3 months in clean, once again...feel good, feel bad, but i'm felling it all...


back to trainspoting: when it first came out i was, yet again battling to stay clean. had about 2 months in, doing well, going to meetiongs etc...living in vancouver, heroin central. went to see the flick and from the get go was triggered like a tidal wave. lasted about 45 min into the flick, ran out of the theatre with my heart beating, flagged down a cab to haistings and main and had a warm gun in me within 10 minutes. back to the life for a couple a more years...

The main theme of this movieis the CHOICES we make in life. This is most apparent when you listen to Renton's opening and closing monologues.
