Dose - Philosopher's Stones Dosage

Hi,

I just recived an bag of PS shrooms and they was dried.
Hard as stones!
Could someone help me out with the dosage with this!?
I have read and searched everywhere, the place where
i orderd them recommend about 1.5gr for a hard trip.
And when i read about fresh shrooms i read the at least 5-7gr
are needed for a trip.
So how much should i have of these dried shrooms?
And also what is the best way taking them?
Can i just let them soak in water for a while and then drink and
chew them?

You cansoak them in water and chew them. You should chew them well.

WhatSwim like to do is put them in tea/coffee/hot chocolate and let the drink cool down, then drink up an chew the shrooms

Is it your first time trippinwith shrooms? If so 1.5g's should be fine.

Just to make clear, mushrooms are 90% water, right? Meaning 1.5g dried would be the same as 15g wet.


So if Liam there, whoi'm lead tobelieve to be a seasoned trippersays 15g is, "a hell of an experience." Then I don't thinkfirst timersshouldbe taking that same amount.Then again I have never had these mushrooms and i'm not sure if all mushrooms have the same matter to water ratio.

I'd imagine philosopher's stones have considerably less water in them than typical psilocybin mushrooms. Their texture is quite hard and chewing them is a lot more like chewing nuts than the sort of vegetable texture you get off fresh shrooms. They are really disgusting though. It's better to cut them up and make tea out of them.

Where in Ireland are you Lukey? If you live in Dublin or Cork I'm pretty sure you can buy these shrooms locally. I'm in Cork myself and there's two very good stores that sell a wide selection of shrooms.

I absolutely disagree. Hawaiian copelandia give a trip that a lot of people do not handle well. In contrary to mexicana truffles, liberty caps and manyother psilocybes panaeolus cyanescens (psilocybe copelandia) does not give the user a good mood, but the trip tends to be serious and especially hard on first timers. It is not very controllable and gives many users the urge to try and stop or fight the trip. Copelandia needs to be sold with a LOT of care. Not just to anyone. Hawaiian copelandia is however very suitable for hardheads andgives great visuals. I think it is a wise decision not to sell copelandia in shops like that, because as you can understand those shops will fall under sharp scepticisme of the authorities soon. I wonder how long it will take beforehe Irish government will try to ban mushrooms there. I hear there are already some courtcasescoming.

I was only stating that they were the finest mushrooms because they are the most potent i.e. excellent for experienced users who know what they're doing.

From what I understand, the Irish government have already reviewed the psilocybin mushroom situation and have no intentions to change it according to what the Minister for Health said in an interview a few months back. Where did you hear about these courtcases? Keep me posted if you pick up some news about it.

PS: Jesus, Alfa, you sounded nasty in that last post. I almost had the feeling you would have prefered that Ireland didn't approve of magic mushrooms.

Didn't mean to sound nasty. I absolutely prefer to have magic mushrooms legal in Ireland as long as possible. But I think shops have a strong responsibility in that. In the UK many shops where selling shrooms, without information, from market stalls to young people. That caused complications which needed a reaction from the government. I do not agree with the UK ban at all, butthat was the reaction that came.The same disrespect towards the strenght of copelandia has also caused problems. Imagine someone who is a total neophyte to psychoactives getting a double dose of copelandia without good instructions. Ithink copelandia should only be available to experienced trippers, who know what to expect. A friend of mine was in an Irish shop, which was suddenly crowded with officers. He got away real quick, without looking around. Could you find that interview for me?

The headshops that I've been to that have sold magic mushrooms both
have very friendly staff that discuss exactly what you are paying for
before you buy. They told me that they wouldn't sell me Copelandia had
I not done mushrooms a good few times before. That was responsible of
them and seeing as their business relies on magic mushrooms (they said
that if the ban returns, their store will have to shut down because
there's no profit to be made off selling skins and salvia) they treat
their customers with the utmost respect and give them the best advise
possible. It's admirable in this day and age of alco-pops and powder
rum being shoved down any young person's throat who comes near a place
with an alcohol license.



That sounds bad about your mate who got surrounded by officers but
I really don't understand why that happened. Perhaps there are places
in other parts of the country that sell them to make as much profit as
possible and can't give two shits about their customers and how they'll
react to the product sold to them.



I don't think I'll be able to track down that interview. I remember
reading it on some newspaper in the summer but I'll be damned if I know
where it is now.

EDIT: I just remembered something productive I can add to this thread in order to get things back on track...



Last Saturday, a mate of mine bought a 15g portion of psilocybin
tampanensis truffles that were "supposed" to be well stronger than the
philosopher's stones and that the 15g could have easily done 3-4
people. He eats them back to himself anyway, all in one gulp, and
waits. Now this guy hasn't got a great deal of experience with
psychadelics, but he can usually handle himself quite well but does go
a bit loopy on a good, hard trip. 15 minutes passes, nothing. Now this
is a guy who came up off an ingested portion of Hawaiians in less than
five minutes (no kidding). 2 hours later, still nothing. 4 hours, minor
giggles, no visualisations, very disappointed after forking out 25Euro.
One last thing to say. He did these stones in public, with no music, no
stimulating lights, no trippy atmosphere (as the rest of us were just
drinking moderately), no cannabis. Can anyone explain why the hell the
tampanensis failed? Was it the dosage, atmosphere, mentality, a rip-off?Edited by: nature_boy_liam

it takes a fair amount of mushrooms to get me going and even then i only really get hallucinations in bed with only very minor difference in colour anywhere else, so maybe SWIY is just not as sensitive as he thought

I had 30 grams of fresh PS the first time i did PS, two words: trippin balls

only done truffles once, and that was after taking an e so i guess the effects of them were enhanced a little, but i did 30g of fresh truffles and it was a bit much for me. had a good time i everything but it was rather intense and i wouldnt do that much again, at least not til im a bit more experienced. kinda expected them to be about as strong as some mushrooms id had a few weeks before (this was a good few months ago, before the ban) but they were a fair bit stronger. but as i say, im not sure how much of that was down to the e i had...

go with 1.5-3g i took 4g (bout 3 years ago) and expected amedium-strong trip because of the general word in my area, after that i learnt to research more myself. Although i learnt a lot from the experience it was like expecting going on a fairly taim roller coaster and getting the shock of my life.


Also remember by not researching and being carful to be ultraresponsible around legal substances as reprecussions WILL happen and said substance will end up illegal like what sadly and unjustly, unreasonably ect, happened in UK (and many other countries)

I bought a portion of PS yesterday and intended to do them at a house
party but it turned out to be a pill-fest so I decided to hang onto
them. The portion weighed just over 11g. I put the stones under a
heater over the course of the night and now they appear to be about as
dry as they're likely to get and their weight has dropped to just over
6g. Perhaps this is some sort of indication that PS don't lose the 90%
weight when dried like typical mushrooms. However, they may not have
shrivelled to their most compact form yet. I'll see if I can dry them
out more with a hair-dryer or something and see if they'll shrink more.



EDIT: Proceeded to dry them out further but the weight did not
change. The portion is now 6g dry, possibly enough for two trips.
