bottle vaporizer?

anyone know thosearizona iced tea bottle?can you just punch 2 holes in the cap andstick a straw in one,then throw yourweed inand just heat the bottom of the bottle to vaporize your weed? or is the glass too thick?

the glass is probably too thick to be warmed with just a lighter. it
may work with a hot plate or something like that, but it would be
easier to just use something with thinner glass. it would be an
interesting experiment though.

well i was gonna buy one of those like hardcore blue flamed lighters....they're sold for like 8-20 bucks in 7-11s and i know they burn at extremely high temps, my friends dad has one that the guy told him could be used for small welding jobs cuz it was soo hot

It sounds like it may crack the glass. Heated glass needs to be tempered, and I am pretty sure Snapple bottles aren't.

i've decided to make the light bulb vaporizer instead and i read a few posts on it but i cant figure out why the second straw has to be inserted, i know its prolly something simple but i cant figure it out haha


anyone know of in the US a good cap tht fits over a 100 watt bulb after you cut off the last ring of the silver thing...cant find one tht fits

pokergodi just bend a coathanger to use as a stand,similar to an oil burner, then use a straw to suck the goodness. If you wanted to be real tricky you could make a 1 piece standand capfrom air dry clay and make ano-ring with some high temp silicone (push the galss against it while its wet to get a perfect fit). you dont need two straws just one and a hole.

i thought about it and i dont see why leaving the hole open at the end of the metal part of the bulb and sucking "smoke" through a straw or pen tube when it starts to rise


any reasons not to?

Not sure exactly what design you're looking at, but if the cap/cork/whatever creates an airtight seal over the end of the bulb, another hole is required for air intake (otherwise you'll create a partial vacuum when you inhale and it will become very hard to take longer hits).

Partially obstructing the intake straw (or hole) will restrict the airflow, increasing the concentration of whatever you're vaporizing.
