I read MBDB is a substitute fro MDMA

I've been looking for a alternative for MDMA for a long time. Seems it is
so hard to get pure MDMA. I read a little about MBDB and feel it has some
potential plus it is not illegal (yet). My use would be for clarity and
spiritual unfolding. I could not find any postings on it on Drugs-Forum
site. Perhaps I didn’t do a thorough search. Anyone have info?

MBDB is basically MDMA, but pretty much only the serotonin release..
Not the noradrenaline or dopamine*. This sounds good, but in
actual fact its not that great. Its much more of a drunken
experience, without the clarity and love of MDMA. Also you need
quite a lot of it to get going.



For interest, Methylone is basically MDMA, but without such a serotonin
release. People tell me if you mix MBDB and Methylone, you have
an MDMA experience...

Of course the biggest problem with MDBD and Methylone is their
rediculous prices. All the RC dealers I have seen charge insane prices
for both of these chemicals. Explosion was the only Methylone I have
seen at a decent price, but now Explosion is out of the picture. Also
keep in mind that though MDBD and Methylone share many similiarities
with MDMA, they are unique drugs. If you go into the experience
expecting MDMA you are most likely going to be let down. If you have
enough extra cash to be able to afford MDBD and Methylone and don't set
your expectations too high then you will have great fun with them, but
its much more economically pheasible to just buy XTC on the street.

I appreciate both of your answers. Wow from $15 for mdma to over $300
for the mdbd/Methylone is quite a jump I'm not willing to experiment
with. I don't have any sources for mdma. The street scene is something I
don't know anything about and don't trust the venders ingredients.
Because it is illegal I wouldn’t ask anyway. The love, clarity,
connectedness is so outrageous. And after having a very deep plus plus 4
experience, I have experienced the absolute now moment of the
expanded potentiality of who I am. Such a gift. I wish everyone had the
opportunity to have a plus 4 experience.

I'm open to other substances that may have mdma characteristics.

With what you've written there, I dont think you'll find anything compares to MDMA.

I would second what Megalev says. MBDB has none of the 'opening' that
MDMA can give you. The other problem, price aside, is that too much
MBDB seems to give you a negative experience-- not afterwards, but
straight away! The cathinone analogue of MBDB (known as bk-MBDB, or
maybe butylone) is much more pleasant but more like methylone than MDMA.
