So SWIM has been wanting to try MDMA for a while now. SWIM has
now
tried it twice and it has dont almost nothing to him ... The first time
was with a pill that SWIMs friend (an experienced tripper) told him was
'ok' but seemed to have some meth like effects (speediness etc.) to
it. SWIM was disappointed to find that it did absolutely NOTHING
to him. SWIM later figured out that this was most likely due to
the fact
that SWIM was on an SSRI (celexa) at the time. SWIM promised
himself
that the next time SWIM did it SWIM would do a pure, tested pill, and
while
not under the influence of any pharmaceutical.

So SWIM has been off the celexa for 3 weeks, and SWIM aquired a pill from a
very reliable source. SWIM found it on pillreports, and it
is being reported as the BEST pill going around in SWIMs area at the
moment. It also tested black almost instantly with the marquis
reagent. So prepped up and excited, SWIM did it on a clear head and
in a good mindset. 30 minutes later SWIM began to get some coming up
effects (body tingling, warmth, and a little bit of the perceptual
feeling that 'something was happening'. Though these effects were
no more pronounced then say taking one percocet). This lasted for
30 minutes ... and then nothing, no peak, no mental or phychological
effect, and no physical effects. SWIMs pupils remained dilated for
like 4 hours, but no effects whatsoever. Does anyone have any
idea whats going on? SWIM find it hard to believe that SWIMs 'immune'
to MDMA as its role is simply in the release and inhibited reuptake of
serotonin. This is so frustrating!!

It can take longer than3 weeks to clear the effects of SSRI medication from your system. Wait a few months. Or figure you're immune from the "Devil~Drug XTC." Edited by: nagognog2

SWIM was only on this antidepressant for 4 weeks though, and in a low
dose. And who said anything abotu it being the devil~drug?

From a biochemical perspective (yes SWIM has a degree in Biochemistry),
this is one of the most beautiful molecules in nature .

Organic chem here. Merely quoting newspapers from midwestern states re: Devil~Drug. SSRI meds work after the 3 week mark, as you must know. They can take quite a bit longer for them to wear off. At least be glad you didn't get put on Paxil. If you stop taking that one, it tends to cause tinnitus with bells and whistle sounds. Joy!

Heh i know, maybe i'm just complaining cuz SWIM was so looking forward
to his virgin roll. I was on paxil once (this was for a long
time), and fortunately upon ceasing its use I had no adverse
effects. Unfortunately however, all SSRIs I have been on have all
given me the same unacceptable side effect (and working to fix the
problem no less).

Think imma start looking at more natural solutions, such as regular
5-HTP supplementation, or possibly SAM (known in the naturopathic world
as SAMe). Hell might even change my diet and all the other crazy
naturopathic stuff. Even have an appointment with a naturopathic
doctor next week ... should be interesting (pharmaceuticals and the
medical industry has left me with an empty void of ignorance and profit
driven diagnoses).

I recommend trying to preload a week or few days before hand with piracetam. Have not tried it personally but have heard great things about it. I plan to test out these theories sooner or later...good luck

I recomend a daily dose of St. Johnsworth. Note that there are quite a lot weak St. Johns worth products around.

Alfa, why do you always say St. Johnsworth instead of wort? There has to be a reason!

I believe that's the german name translated into english. Sometimes my friends in Dortmund get me confused by calling herbs by different names.

OhI forgot to mention. Ginko Biloba goes quite well with St. John's Wort, however I should note that SJW can nullify birth control (interesting tidbit of info).

SJW is a natural antidepressant from what I understand and ginko helps out blood flow in the brain in a bit of a different manner than piracetam.
