My sides are killing me after drinking too much: Liver related?


like every 6-8 hours my sides on the front below my rib cage hurt really bad. Even while iam sleeping the pain wakes me up, i dont want to go to the doctors cus i got fired from my job and no longer have Medical Insurance, Has this happened to anybody who drinks? I get drunk like between 1-3 times a week usually beer only. A friend told me that if it was liver infection i would be throwing up blood and I dont? Any input?/ thax

im no doctor but it sounds more like your kidneys if its happening on both sides. i would start drinking a little more water and definately see a doctor.

Iam 24 years old, i been drinking since like 18, I
smoke weed and snort coke every once in a while
now.. my sides finally stopped hurting after i stopped
drinking for a while, its wierd, if it comes back i'll go
to the doctors even if i dont have insurance screw
them.

I know this response is late but dude even if the pain has stopped go to the Dr especially with kidney problems....u can really bad before ur kidneys start to hurt....trust me I'm a diabetic and my aunt has dialosis u dont want to mess around with ur kidneys!
