How far will you go until there is no turning back?
judgement is extremely important to our perception of the world we live in.everything around us is subject to change. thus our judgement and perception of the world also changes as everything in nature does.changing our perception or the world via external means leads to confusion and inner turmoil.when the affect of a mind altering substance subsides the reality that exists is more difficult to except.with each instance of abuse we move further and further away from the answers we seek.the question is how far will you go until there is no turning back.the world as we percieve it under the influence of a substance is very alluring.of course it is,they are tapping parts of the brain that should only occur naturally(some that never surface).patience is a virtue that few have.we seek happiness but the price is inner chaos.inner peace is the goal we seek dont wait till its too late to turn back

Why would these parts of the brain that cannot be tapped naturally even exist in us, as humans. They exist because when they are tapped by external substances, they can lead to altered states of consciousness. From analyzing oneself during these states, one can find answers to these questions about themselves, their relationships, etc. To each is own. Some people are never interested in tapping these parts of the brain, but others are. Obviously you are not an advocate of altering your mind, but there are some that do this responsibly. You are correct, some may not be prepared for these alteredmindsets, so they use them as an escape, and yes, they are moving further and further away from the answers they seek. However, there are many that use drugs for research and self-analyzation, which is far from an escape. Also, nobody can say "the answers we seek" because each person may be searching for their own answers. If drugs are not the means you feel you were meant to find your answers, then more power to you, but for those of you that do use them responsibly, the more power to you as well. |

i am all for mind alteration.when on a journey eventually you will come to a point where you have to decide whether to back to where you came from or continue on. you need to be sure it is you who are controlling your journey and not your altered perception controlling you. every journey has its purpose. a journey without purpose will lead to confusion and the path from where you once came will seem unfamiliar.

Even though many people, me myself being one of, let our altered perception control us there are alot of others who gain from having an altered perception but who also gain from not, as they controll it, there is a very fine boarderline in which you have to decide what is controlling what, but even so there are many people who use drugs to thier advantage, and still know the path they came from and always will, but want to venture out. The one thing you haven't mentioned is that people do not just take drugs to find answers, but to enjoy them just as they are. As for tapping into different parts of the brain, everyone uses different parts of the brain, depending on thier skills, levels of intelligence and the way they go about life, that does not mean using other parts, through drugs is a bad thing but maybe a good thing. |
