Things to say when the cops come knockin’

Things you can say when there are cops at your front door:


"What took you so long to find me?" This is a very bad 'greeting' as is automatically implies your guilt. However, this is the preferred 'greeting' of serial killers, as some people say on a sub-conscious level serial killers want to get caught.


You could try the run-around: "He doesn't live here any more." Just make sure they tell you who they are looking for before you say this.


Or you could try confusing them:"You've got the wrong address. One of the screws fell out, that six is suppose to be a nine."


Anyone else got any bright ideas?
