Ok all!! I am curious to hear if there is actually a difference in our drugs compared to everyone else's!! SWIM has recently came across some American weed, andSWIM hasto say that it was by far more natural and enjoyable then the stuff SWIM has had from friend's grown right here on Canadian soil!! Also, how come we dont have Efederin (sorry about spelling) on our shelves??

Not trying to burst your bubble just posting a possibility that the bud you smoked was Canadian. Most of the weed in the states is grown in B.C. and smuggled down south for huge proffit gains. Or it you might have gotten some bud that was grown on American soil and hey! if it was better then more power to ya.

When it boils right down to it I don't think that any Country has better weed. It is the individual grower. When I used to live in Oregon I had really bad swag but I also had some of the best weed I've ever had. In BC bad weed is more rare, but average weed is quite common. Know a good grower and the weed gets to be top-notch. This is applicable all over canada. I've lived in most provinces and always had good bud. In europe, as I am sure some of the European members of this forum can attest to - Weed can be bad, good, or HOLD ON TO YOUR CHAIR, KNOCK YOUR SOCKS OFF GOOD. It is all about the growers skills.

Grower's skills is the main topic, perhaps more than the seed's genetic qualities. A good grower will be able to grow good weed from good seeds, a bad one will have bad results even with the most expensive seeds.
The image of modern marijuana strains are in a certain sens the result of a marketing strategy. This makes that in the past, sometimes I was so fucking to buy weeds just because they're were named "Big Skunk", "Blueberry" and so on just because I had heard that this was the last released strains, rather that examining the buds, lookings for crystals and resine. |

OMG Nature Boy. I have never seen anything like it, so I guess I've never smoked anything from Ireland. Why is it like that, I mean, what is that?? It rains a lot in Ireland right? You have great lawn there right? So, why the hell cant you grow a nice, big, green, stalk??

Yeah that stuff is rank alright. And the picture doesn't even do it justice. It usually looks darker and mankier than that. I'll have to start growing some weed but the lack of good sunshine in the winter due to cloud cover might mean I have to wait until late springtime.Edited by: nature_boy_liam |

The University of Edinburgh analysed soapbar a few years ago and came to some shocking conclusions. Soapbar contains less than 10% resin. The remaining 90% can contain boot polish, beeswax, turpentine, henna, ground coffee, vinyl, motor oil, glue, dyes, animal shit, milk powder, pine resin, aspirin, ketamine and potentially carcinogenic solvents like Toluene and Benzene. Side effects of these last two potentially lethal chemicals include fatigue, nausea, weakness and confusion so when people smoke it, they think they're getting stoned when they're actually getting pumped full of chemicals. These can be followed by spasms, tremors, headaches, loss of hearing, vision and memory, poor coordination and liver and kidney damage.
Soapbar is common in the UK & France also but is declining in recent years due to the increasing home-grow culture. Most people in Ireland still smoke soapbar without even realising how harmful it actually is due to lack of quality imported gear. That is one of the main reasons why cannabis MUST be decriminalised in Ireland moreso than most other countries because people are simply fucking themselves up on it. The retarded thing is, the government cite that they won't decriminalise because of the dangers of cannabis, but these dangers are only attributed to the soapbar they confiscate off people. If they opened their eyes, they would know that cleanly produced cannabis is absolutely harmless in comparison. |
