The best way to germinate is in sand that has been moisened, microwaved in a plastic tray inside a gallon ziploc for 10 minuitesand allowed to cool. Once cool, sprinkle seeds on top of sand.Keep moist with baggie cracked for air circulation as a humidity tent, within two weeks if kept in diffused lighting and warm, they will do fine. You can then graft the seedlingsto pereskiopsis, and have major years knocked off growth times.
