Once i read a story about a movie explaining that after a person dies,
their soul leaves their body their soul-less body weighs 21 grams
less. I know it is based on a movie (called 21 grams) but i read
a study or something. Can anyone explain this that knows I am
really stoned and really want to know the answer!

I have the movie and in it they say that when the body dies, at the
moment of death the body loses 21 grams in weight and the speculate
that it could be the human soul.

The amount of oxygen in the lungs weights about 21 grams, which will be released upon death.

No, your oxygen is not released during death. It just stays. None is pumped in and none is going out.

lol, if u wana know the answer to this, go to google and look up astral projection. that is the ability to separate your mind from the body. many ppl are able to train themselves to do this. I have had 3 spontanios out of body experiences (sounds fucked i know, but bear with me) on my 3rd one i took a nice flight down my street. well anyways, acording to astral projection, u have your physical body, your astral body, etherical body, mental body, and couple more. now when we sleep out body fills with etherical energy and prepares us for the next day. etherical energy is a buffer between the physical plane and the astral plane(which is where u go when u project) everything in the physical has its astral counterpart. etherical enrgy exists in both, and apparently can be measured and quantified. so when we die, the astral body (when u project it only has so much energy before it runs out and re-alings with the physical) the astral body will no longer have its physical counterpart, and it will absorb one final amount of energy out of the physical body to keep itself alive in the astral (once that runs out u literaly go thru a second death and go into even a higher realm (mental realm)) the thing is, that etherical energy is supposed to be mass and energy at the same time, and its mass can be measured. and the amount of etherical energy or mass that the astral body absorbs at the moment of physical death is apparently 21 grams worth. I know this explanation is fucked, but go to a search engine, type in astral projection, 7 realms of existence, or etherical energy, and ull see wut im talking about

I have had the ability to have an out of body experience, usually dissociatives do it best, but I see how this could affect your weight after you die. I guess your consience and soul basically all your mental energy (or something else we don't know) weighs 21 grams, until science can prove anything further. Anyone know the exact weight just to be sure?If not its ok. lol.
