Poppy’s legal in Canada??

Assuming you mean opium poppies, my understanding is that they are not legal in

However, having said that, they are grown, including in people’s front yards.

As far as I can remember from shopping for my flowers this year, I saw nothing that was an "opium poppy" at the store. It is illegal in Canada!!

Poppies aren't technically legal in Canada - but it really isn't enforced. That doesn't mean it can't be though.People do grow good poppies here, alot of people grow good poppies without even knowing it. This isa picture from SWIMS girlfriend's family farm He was at a week ago. Noone would think of it as something to get high with unless they already had that in their minds before.

WOW!!! Now that is what I call a HUGE poppy!! Does the girlfriends' family even know that the poppy there shown can really screw you up?? I had no idea that they were actually farmed in Canada.

The farm is just a regular farm. They just have large flower beds, and some of the flower beds are poppies. I don't know where their poppies came from originally. Seeds truly are everywhere.
