i was thinking about making weed tea if i can get any weed. lol

any way i was thinking of boiling 20 Oz of water and poring into a
nalagene bottle with like 6 grams of weed and some butter and shaking
it up for 10 min and letting it sit overnight. then drinking it on the
12 hour car ride to main since my parents are driving and would not let
me smoke. thought maybe it would help the ride go a bit quicker.



regardless does any1 know anything about weed tea

It might ork but 2% milk would be much better or alchoho, theres a very interesting thread about it

Weed and Water don't mix.


If you pour boiling water over a few Grams of Pot, this will not make tea. THC is Oil-base. It does not mix with water. Any THC which is released from the Herb will have no place to go. It may just adhere to the bottle itself.


The fact that you're putting butter in it is good, however. Shake it up good. The THC WILL absorb into the butter. But with 6 Grams of Pot, you should have a good amount of butter to soak it up (a half-a-cube will be fine). Even then, the Tea part will still contain no THC; it will remain in the butter part, so keep your Tea warm so the butter is liquid. Enjoy. It's Tea Time!

making weed tea would be a huge waste of weed that u could just smoke and get alot more highs out of that all would be better than weed tea anyway, the only weed tea i have ever tried was after i saved up a shit load of stems and it didnt taste all that great, and had no effects at all, which is predictable becuz they were stems but i cant see buds doing much in a tea either
