@takedown: I don't really want to get into the whole subject but I believe that:
- people should have all the info given to them in order to make the best decisions
- people should decide for themselves - even God the gives you that right - as long as you're not hurting others, it's your decision - unlike modern government who happily decided that we need to be nannied through life
- teenage deaths caused by drug use are mostly caused by bad parenting (sit the F down and talk to your kid ffs + You can see the signs when someone is using - make any excuse up for the good people of Romania - but when your kid is not getting food and sleep, has dilated pupils, talks alot and starts dancing to the fire alarm, you can tell there's something wrong)
- swiy might be a dealer who doesn't want the information out so that he can make mad profit before generation 2012 is legalized
- swiy should go to the authorities to report the new drug if he knows that it's as poisonous as he he says he does
- swim wants to warn friends of the dangers of the new crap they turned to for their high and swiy is not helping
- swiy have a condescending tone

I'm sorry that you think that way. Before getting banned, Mephedrone (Special Gold) was used by approximatelly 100000 people in Romania (these are statistics that I have no source for, so either I got lied to aswell by the media, or they are actually true) and several deaths (at least a dozen that I can list legitimate sources). Again, making this information available for the dealers would make it a national disaster again.
The mephedrone explosion was not localised to Romania. The very same happened in quite a few EU countries, notably the UK.
Please provide sources for this dozen deaths attributed to mephedrone as to date there are only a handful (3 or 4) reported worldwide. Always back up any such claims with sources.
Romanian headshops are going to reopen soon with new legal highs . At 25 March , a reopen date will be announced officially . Headshops owners say there is no problem if the gouvernment ban some substances , they can import other substances that are not banned yet .

@Abrad - The mephedrone did not killed anyone in Romania , but the herbal stuffs killed only a 17 years old kid . The autopsy results revealed he suffered a pulmonary edema caused by intoxication with stupefiants .

Herbal stuff didn't kill anyone. The media is full of shit. They said special gold(mephedrone) is a panamese(from Panama) mix of herbal stuff. They don't know anything about the substances. Pulmonary edema has many causes which include smoking of cigarettes (very common in Romania) but ofcourse it's not such a nice headline like "legal drugs kill again".
Special gold can and has killed people. The rate is pretty small though. It's toxic on the body but hardly deadly. A very few died and the cause of death wasn't clear.
And if a guy before's statistic were good 12 people from 100,000 isn't that much to relate drug use with cause of death. Correlation does not imply causation.
i subscribe to what GrinTea wrote ... i also think this should still be a place where different SWIU can freely share different informations. Who doesn't feel this way, should at least not make such statements as "I know but won't tell".

NONE of Youz have tried that, everything that Youz do is complain complain complain and ask for the name, just like that - even though Youz friends have tried it and Youz could write a decent report that would help people understand this substance better and help people that are taking it.
Also, make sure you first file it in the correct forum, while Mephedrone was a BK, this new one might not be, so I suggest actually researching the side effects of any compound before demanding for the name. Generation 2012 is not Mephedrone, Mephedrone is illegal in some countries including Romania. Generation 2012 is probably legal and probably a Beta Ketone, but until authorities find the active compound yet, it will not be a sure guess and nobody should mislead anybody in thinking it's a substance without stating references, as a previous poster mentioned.

Many people says that Generation 2012 it's MDPV , SWIM did not try it yet but he will do it soon . Swim thinks anyone who wants to try it for the first time , should think twice before and don't make a 100mg line or even bigger . Keep in mind , this new legal high seems to be much stronger than mephedrone (special gold) or methylone (magic) .
SWIM lives in Romania, speaks romanian and can tell 100% sure that Mephedrone is one of the 36 "spice shops" drugs that were banned couple of months ago. However, the spice shops got their right to re-open and "sell the rest of unbanned substances that remain out there" which SWIM can tell FOR SURE it actually means, in translation : "we'll sell the same exact things under different names & brands and you can't stop us coz the drug itself is not mentioned in the ingredients list on the pack".
Shops got allowed to start gathering papers and start the legal steps for re-opening on 25.03.2010 and will be open until maximum 25.04.2010 .
As for Mephedrone itself, there's this new product for a month already in Romania called "Generation 2012" which has the same exact design and color on the pack and, most importantly, the same exact Mephedrone that one would find in the banned "magic" and "special gold" mephedrone products.
It is somewhat different though, the main difference being that this is powder while the banned ones were crystals ...and also G2012's effects are stronger on the insomnia & paranoia side and weaker for euphoria side. Still, it does feel like mephedrone.
It's completely legal to order it over internet and it will be sold in spice shops when they reopen.
Gov. response to spice shop owners' brilliance in using the gaps to resell these things is that they will re-actualise the banned drugs (probably brands too) every once in a while.
This is good news somewhat since it looks its gonna be a perfect circle, officials banning a product containing mephedrone and in few time here comes another, barely different in looks, with that same mephedrone.

Yes they did ban the substance and not the brand, indeed. But there's no mentioning on the ingredients list on "Special Gold" or "Magic" that it contains mephedrone.
How can you then explain that both these two products were on the list along with the other banned products - brands - (which contained drugs that were mentioned on the ingredients list) for the shops to either sell them in 10 days or destroy them after?
As for the new "magic potion"...it is mephedrone. Did you personally fed it to your pet and was not mephedrone? Did you test it in a lab? Where's the certainty from?Seriously asking
I did mention its slightly different from the previous mephedrone products....but it still is mephedrone. Everything I stated in my previous post is either taken from newspapers , either tested on my personal pet for quite a while now.

- this means a close investigation and analysis of the active substance was performed by the authorities
- further, this lead to the bann of the substance (mephedrone)
--> Actual bann was made based on the substances not on the brands that the substances were sold under.
i.e. SWIY would sell cocaine under the brand "Snow white" and the ingredients on the package would only mention caffeine, creatine, aminoacids. One month later the authorities bann the cocaine - the actual active substance (not "Snow white"). This does not mean that later that month SWIY could bring another brand on the market "White joy" selling the same cocaine while the authorities could not touch SWIY just because he is using a different brand. SWIY is selling cocaine and that is it ... no matter the name used for it !!!
Of course, we are not talking about ppl that choose to sell and deal with any banned substances at own risk. I am only talking about staying in the thin bounds of legality.
As mephedrone was banned and this decision was published ... the law stated: - in the following 10 days all owners of the mentioned banned substances are under the obligation to destroy on their own expense and in conformity with the law all those substances in their possesion. - also, it stated that in those 10 days, the cultivation, production, experimentation, extraction, preparation, tranforming, offering, selling, distribution, any kind of delivery, sending, transportation, procurement, buying, introduction/removal from the country, import/export of all the mentioned substances is banned in conformity with the 143/2000 law and it's modifications and following updates. (all this above is a translation of the update to the 143/2000 law published on 10.02.2010).
This being said ... the fact that in those following 10 days the shops still sold it's merchandise and ppl still traded online or in clubs this substances and the authorities closed their eyes on it it doesn't make it legal. So if this substances are still sold as tourniquet states this should not be permitted from a legal point of view.
And closing ... refering to what the press publishes concerning our subject here, most of the times those news have no real base, no knowledge of the subject and are pretty inconsistent. Most of the publications are in the chase of sensational, big headlines are needed and definitely they act with no real interest for the facts.

Mephedrone and other banned substances can't be available again in "Spice Shops" because if police would control some of these shops , they take samples , so the owners get fked up . Of course some of shops can sell illegally mephedrone , but this is like selling heroin in front of police station .
Hi guys, just tried a new legal product that is somehow cheaper than the G2012
It's called B.L.T. and I don't know what's the active substance in it but it's nothing like the G2012. First of all it tastes better and it hits you faster than the G2012. It lasts a bit shorter than G2012 but the buzz is more euphoric and it doesn't have the negative effects of the G2012 (i mean you don't sweat, your heart doesn't fell like you're having a heart attack and you can sleep easier than after taking 2012)
But it's texture it's horrible. It's powder and it compacts in small bits. It's almost imposible to make a smooth line.
Anyone tried this before and can tell me what's the active substance in this product because i don't wanna have problems with the police, and i like it too much to quit )

If this is a trial where you must bring undoubtful evidence and where you cannot post your pet's real, unproofable experiences, then I rest my case.
Swim finds Generation 2012 to be mdpv in his opinion on how the effects are but mdpv doses are very small and swim can easy snort 250mg of generation 2012 and have the same effects as 10 mg of mdpv. Also this Generation 2012 tastes something like fruits...Swim thinks it contains mdpv but something like a very low % of it as 250mg of mdpv would be a OD in Swim opinion.
Swim is wondering..how could someone cut mdpv that hard and with what.
Swim also heard about some new brands that he haven`t tried yet.
Also Swim would advice caution with G2012 as if it contains mdpv can have very nasty side effects if taken in large dosage and binge on it something that was very usual around with mephedrone.
