Is it possible to harvest Phragmites Australis the whole year ?

I've been thinking about this for some time, and i've come to the conclusion that rain would wash out alot of the DMT?

Someone who has tried harvesting in fall/winter/spring what's your input on this?

I'm really interested in this, as there's a trillion plant's close to me..

And now would be the time to harvest if, it does lose it's potency..
