questions about San pedro cacti

ok so i'm getting ready to order some San pedro and i've got a few questions

1. how easy do they grow and how soon can you harvest them. I'm getting cuttings 10-14cm long and 4-6cm wide. I'm planning on eating some of them right away though

2. It says that if they are dried they are more potent how should i dry them out?

3. WHat is the trip like how long does it last etc.
