No, it does not. I know it's not logical, but coffeeshops are cannabis sources and since this forum is about coffeeshops, one should be able to discuss them. There is not much difference between coffeeshops and pot clubs. So feel free to list you favorite pot club here. Note: if listing pot clubs here pose any kind of danger to the pot clubs, then let me know. |

OK, that's cool. I have previously had posts deleted and warned by
moderators when I gave out links to NORML's website in this forum, which had lists of medical marijuana co-ops, and compassionate doctors. This info is now kosher? Shout out to the Green Cross! ![]() None of these co-ops (or the doctors prescribing) are operating on the sly. Listing contact information here should make no difference at all to their security. The people and legislature of the state of California have declared this legal, and any interested federal agencies which disagree are already well aware of exactly who is selling what. If anyone here has managed to "play the system," is using these services in a manner inconsistent with their mission, and posts about it, or if anyone asks about how to do so, then I'd hope they would be quickly disciplined.Edited by: radiometer |

this does put into danger, and incriminate members. though some cities on the west coast in the united states do allow for medical pot clubs that sell marijuana, the federal government have been cracking down on them, as they are illegel in the eyes of the federal government. plus, allowing people to discuss these sources, could leave room for their posts to show that these clubs are very lax on prescriptions, and sometimes doesn't require them (which is completely illegal.)
I would think that discussion of coffeeshops and pot clubs in the united states would constitute sources discussion... bordering even illegal sources. I know, as a member of a couple co-op medical operations in the northwest (which are even more in danger,) that these clubs don't want the attention. |

here's even more reason not to allow these pot clubs to be discussed -

yes they probably shouldnt be discussed. there have not been any federal raids in the bay area for some time to my knowledge but there have been in the not so distant past. the clubs would not want there names or locations discussed on an open internet forum. i can tell you though that if you ever come to the bay area they are an excellent source, that is of course if you meet the requirements to obtain a medical marijuana card.
