Overdose - WTF Happened!!!?

friday night swim popped 2 mg of diazepam, having a lower tolerance than he can remember, then saturday he got into the opiates. in the morning swim drank two medium sized tasmanian pods, steeped into tea, to which he repeated around 6 that night. at 9pm he drank a tea spoon of codeine/promethazine, and at 10 he had two more. swim was totally fucked in a good way.

swim's friend was staying over and he had just got up a few hours before hand, and accepting that he wouldn't be able to fall asleep, kept an eye on swim to make sure he didn't enter a coma. swim woke up at 6, his friend said he was totally fine and they went out for coffee.

swim had not a hint of cyanosis at 1pm, and his breathing was pretty much back to normal. swim had work at 3 so he hopped in a hot shower, hopping out into a steamy bathroom covered in mirrors. the first he looked at shocked him, his lips has become a meager shade of pink/blue, and his fingers looked like clubs swung at the dawn of man!!!!

the entire fucking night and day up until that point (7 hours awake allready) swim was totally cool, only to take a shower and completely lose it upon finishing. swim lived with his mom who agreed his nails looked blue, then he had to go to work where he felt as though a squirrel were stuck in his throat, so he left to go to the e.r.

when he got to the emergency room they said his blood oxygen saturation level was 100 percent, and that a temp change may have been responsible?! bullshit. how the fuck did this happen? the blue lips dissapeared seconds after he got out of the shower but the fingers lingered. does swiy think this level of oxygen deprivation hurt swim's brain???

... swim just took that shower and noticed the exfoliated broken skin around his lips after a hot shower resembles pictures of cerulean lips he's seen online... though again his fingernails were def turning an ice cold porsche blue. could he have had vasoconstriction without it affecting his head? e asks because his tips still looked a little purple after the nurse said is oxygen level was perfect?

how long does that blue discoloration take to get rid of if one starts breathing heavily?

triple post he wasn't even nodding anymore when he took his afternoon shower. he was almost completely sober 4 to 5 hours afterwards (the binge being his largest opiate tiral yet)

does swiy normally take diazepam, or other benzos? sounds like swiy gave swiyourself a panic attack. this can cause color change in skin and nails. temp change/showers can cause changes in skin color/lips/nails when getting out if the temp was colder. skin may still be red from the hot water, but nails lips slightly blue. is swiy fair skinned or pale at the moment?

has had blueish nails and lips often when jammed, especially if it was cold out or the a/c was on full blast. even some scars would turn blue/purple. swim didnt feel cold cuz of the opiates, though.

yes swim is a pale sailor. but his fingernails were blue hours after the shower... though not as blue as textbook pics of cyanosis. theyre fine now and they were fine after his second shower...
