Would leaving rye bread in a water filled coffe can for about a month
cause the rye to mold then release the LSA into the water or would it
cause all of the toxic,and lethal products to also release into the
water. So if i did this and its not lethal how much of this liquid
should be consumed to produce an LSA trip.

Isnt ergot a mold that grows on rye? So i figured it would mold and all
of the alkaloids would release into the water i have heard this
procedure some where before....?

To types of mold can come from ergot containing foods, one is ergotism gangrenic and can cause gangrene like symptoms ie losing body parts, and the other is ergotism convulsive this can gie LSD LIKE affects but can cause seisure and muscle convulsions so it is advisable not to use ergot to get high

Why not just buy some morning glory or HBW if you want LSA so bad?

Well if you want the ergot extraction then you could use the bran method I hinted at, I have a co worker who tried it and thought it was LSD (they have done LSD) but there is always the possibility of convulsions and other bad stuff.
This is a ROUGH out line of the procedure I repeat ROUGH not to be tried without further research:
You will need
-NATURAL bran (health food store)
-A pressure release beeker (HYPOTHETICALLY you could use a sports bottle if you could time it right to release pressure)
-Water
Put the water and bran in then beeker so the bran is moist and somewhat mushy then set in the sun,
the water will begin to evaporate and be dispensed through the top of the beeker
Eventually you will see a blue-ish mold begin to form on the bran that is your ERGOT not LSA
There is a more detailed outline in "The Anarchists Cookbook", I think.
But I am advising not to do this because of the inherent dangers.

This all sounds bad to me haha. Anarchist's Cookbook is grabage. If you put bran in water and tried to grow mold, you would grow mold, not ergot. You would need to innoculate the substrate with ergot spores. Whatever you end up with here will make you very sick and you will probably die, unless its just regular mold, then you will just get sick.

Ergot grows on the tips(seeds) of living rye grain, not on bread.. Bread mold does not give LSA or ergot of any form... The Anarchists Cookbook was written by some college kid with no chemistry/drug knowledge and contains many deadly mistakes at worst, and just poor overall information at best.. Although, luckily for anyone that is slow enough to try this, bread mold isn't usually deadly, and chances are, the worst you'll get from a belly full of moldy bread is probably just sick to your stomach (for most common household molds anyways).. The thing is, with the right environment, any random mold spore that comes in contact with the proper conditions can take hold of the substrate, and this can include deadly types, but this isn't as common as the green molds most see growing on bread. If you wanna grow a psychedelic fungus, I'd suggest starting with psilocybe cubensis mushrooms.. This is rather simple for basic production and is also a rather inexpensive hobby...

Ergot....are where talking claviceps pupurea and ssp. here?.....mmmmmz...Ergotism is not exactly fun..anyway ergot is not a mold but a fungus..great historic background though
