Experiences - what did swim smoke?

Swim and frinds had a aprty friday night. Swim had quite a bit to drink and had a little mephedrone. A couple of swims friends had turned up with a drug they had payed a huge sume for. They had been told the name of it but couldn't remember. Apparently it was something new though. The substance looked a little like skunk but was dark and finer from what swim remembers. Swims friends did warn that it was really intense

Swim and friends were offered a go. They had to inhale from a bottle pipe and hold for a few seconds. Litteraly the second swim put the bottle down the affects kicked in. It was the most intense rush swim has ever experienced. Really scary. Swim remembers turning round to friends and the room turning into an orange mesh. The was a sound, buzzing or wooshing similar to nitrous went through swims head. The intensity that it seemed to level on the head was unreal. Swim wasn't sure exactly how long it lasted as this is all he can remember. Swim knows with a few minutes though it had completely gone with no after affects or hangover.

Although swim was scared, he believed in a calmer environment and on a straight head it would have been more enjoyable.

Swim has been reading all day and the closest description seems to be salvia or dmt. Maybe swims friends were ripped off with salvia. Oneof swims friends had this years ago though and said he didn't think it was this. DMT seems less likely as it's powder. Swim has had numerous chemicals but this was completely different. Swim is not a big fan of acid or ketamine but beleives he might enjoy this as there were no immediate after affects at all.

Does anyone have any ideas what this is?

As you said, DMT is highly unlikely as it is usually crystalline or powdery, looks nothing like plant material. I would say it was probably salvia. Salvia can induce insanely different trips depending on how much is smoked, where SWIY are, etc. etc., and the room turning orange is definitely a sign of something psychedelic. Salvia also hits pretty fast and comes on extremely hard, and trips can be as short as five or so minutes (at least for the obviously psychedelic effects).

Thanks, although swims never had it I'm beginning to think it was salvia. Although looking at pics on google images it doesn't look the same. This stuff looked more like it came off a skunk bud. If it was salvia, it means they did get ripped off aswell, as they payed a 3 figure sum for it. Not suprising if this was the case, though, in the world of drugs

That definatly sounds like salvia to SWIM, most of the salvia hes seen all kind of look like bud but more dried out and a more faded green color.
