Fast response needed please - San pedro tea

SWIM acted on a whim, sort of. SWIM has always wanted to use mescaline (or same in plant) and so he couldnt resist when his local head shop ofered him a (small bag) of san pedro (12.5g). Is this enough to make SWIM trip, SWIM is pretty much medium build. SWIM has got as far as seeping the cactus in hot (ish) water - but now what? Ahhh!! SWIM got so excited he got ahead of himself.

Does SWIM need to blend it? Does the water have to be acidified?

SWIM has heard on the grapevine that the cactus skin makes nausea worse, should he try and get rid of it? Would a coffee filter be good or wasteful?

Either just drink the hot water with the cactus in it, or add it to a pot with lemon juice/ citric acid and put it on a simmer for about 4 hours, then filter through T shirt or similar filter, making sure to squeeze out all the juice. The remaining liquid can then be boiled down to about 2-4 oz and consumed very quickly. SWIY can also do a second boil with the cactus mush and lemon juice, repeating the process, to get a little bit more out of the cactus.

Re: Fast response needed please - San pedro tea

The whole thing came about because SWIM was impulsive, which option do you think he chose (Although SWIM understands that mescaline is a drug that needs patients.

SWIM was surprised that the cactus tea didnt taste half as bad as he expected. SWIM hopes bitterness isnt a sign of its strength as this one isnt so bitter :S

SWIM is still anxious to hear if he is likely to have a full on trip or not from 12.5g (obviously SWIY doesnt know the exact mescaline content, I would just like a guess.

Ack, SWIM just hit a really chewy bit, he thinks the worst bits may be hiding at the bottom.

Could someone prewarn swim when the nausia is likely to kick in.

Re: Fast response needed please - San pedro tea

Did SWIY have a full or empty stomach before consuming the San Pedro? There is significantly less nausea when taken on an empty stomach. With a dose as low as 12.5g dried SP though, there probably won't be too much nausea.

SWIY may have a full trip from 12.5g, but mescaline can be very subtle at low doses (and without other drugs) so SIWY may not trip much. If SWIY wants to make the experience stronger (as well as very different), SWIY may want to smoke a little marijuana with the mescaline. This will also do a lot for any nausea SWIY may have.

Hope SWIY has a nice time!
