withdrawals and tolerance?

Swim has been using the black shit for about a year off and on. mainly he is just curious about avoiding bad withdrawal. Swim usually uses for about a week to a month at a time andthen takes a break for a week or 2, gets through withdrawal, gets healthy then go back in. The weather is cold around here and being sober is.. cold. Being high is warm, and makes it much easier to get to class and such. Usually swim uses by pickin up a decent amount, gettin nice and high, never nodding, but decently high for a day or 2, andthen slowly weaning down use until down to about .05g-.1g shot twice a day until out. Goes through minor withdrawal, waits, then restarts.

Swim has found that with just a .1g shot twice a day Swim can feel pretty decent, able to make it to classes, able to study, not too cold, relaxed. And it gives the ability to every once and awhile go up to a .2 shot andthen continue with just the .1g's from there on. While avoiding withdrawal and maybe just not feeling the next .1 shot as much as the .1g's before the .2g shot, but it returns. The stuff around is tar, pretty standard crap basically, nothin very strong, contains about 5% diacetyl.

The question is since swim sometimes misses class during the withdrawals, and they are every 3rd week or so, could swim continue to use say a .1g dose continuously without fear of withdrawals getting worse?

Basically, do withdrawals get worse based on the amount of time used, or on how large tolerance gets. since this method does not seem to increase tolerance besides a very little in the beginning.

Re: withdrawals and tolerance?

Swim thinks withdrawals depend on both time of use and amount of use. The longer you've used the longer it will take your body and brain to get back to normal. Also the more you take makes you more accustomed to constantly being in that state. Both amount and time used play a part in withdrawal. So a person that used a little very rarely withdrawal will be slight maybe even not present. a person who uses a bunch every day generate high tolerances and cant function without. If you want to keep on using keep it to the lose dose your at now, and withdrawals might still occur but not as strong maybe... cant speak for everyone.

Re: withdrawals and tolerance?

ah thank you. Yes i dont seem to have too much of a problem with keeping it low since i love to feel. Whenever i do a shot too large and become numb i find myself very irritated that i did that and end up just sitting counting the seconds until i feel "my body' return to a much more intouch state.

I do fear long withdrawals more than short intense withdrawals though. From what you know you say that long use means long withdrawals. Is there anyone that might be able to back this up or refute it based on their personal experience?

Ill probably just keep the path im on if continuing use means long withdrawals. Also if i were to decrease my amounts everyday near the end, say .02 shots and eventually down to .01. Would there be any withdrawal at all? Theres gotta be a way to avoid withdrawal by being careful, anything is possible!

i apologize, my S W and M keys are slightly malfunctioning. Anywhere that there is an I it should be surrounded with an S W and M as swim was my intention, ofcourse

Yes. 100% yes. In terms of physical addiction; the more you use, the longer you've had a habit, the quicker you go into withdrawal, the more severe that withdrawal will be, and the longer it will last. In swim's humble opinion, the more your body and brain get used having heroin every day, the greater a shock your whole system will go into when it is deprived of that drug.

And you must also take into account the psychological aspect of it all; the greater a percentage of your life spent on smack, the harder it will be to ever adapt back to life straight.

You're walking a fine line. Remember, addiction doesn't have to happen straight away. You might get away with it for weeks, months, even years. But that doesn't mean you're immune. Nearly all the time, it'll get you in the end. Watch out for that, yeh?
