Other - Naturally made DMT?

I hear that there are a few types of dmt, you can also read about this in places such as wiki... But generally speaking, unless I am wrong, whenever we speak about the shamanistic traditions, or of people able to breakthrough for a little 5 minutes or so, I think they are referring to plain DMT extracted from DMT plants...

A friend of mine wanted to know: Is plain DMT from DMT plants the only DMT you can make naturally? Meaning that you can extract it yourself from the plant, then go straight to freebasing it? Does this mean that all other types of DMT are synthetic drugs made in labs and sold by dealers or on the internet, sort of like lsd? Or can one make many sorts of DMT from his home simply using legal plants and extraction techniques?

there is only one DMT crystal and you can extract this only from a plant with dmt.

making it in a lab would be a waste of time.

there are many forms and colors in wich dmt is used

white, yellow, redish (jungle spice) (all come from the same extraction process, only less or more pure)

ayahuasca (to drink)
changa (smoke)
freebase (vaporate)

sorry sir, there a many types of crystalline DMT. And there are different forms of DMT. there are also many different types of extractions eg. STB, A/B. Think of 5MeODMT, that is DMT with methyl group at the 5 position. Think of bufontenine, 5hoDMT. Think of 4AcODMT, that is acetylated psilocin. all are the DMT molecule but with additions to them. i have only a basic knowledge of chemisty, very basic. but you should try and search google or the forums before asking a question of this sort.

Did a bit of research for the sake of adding info to this forum, but since we are talking about dmt, and I am inexperienced, it would be nice to have a senior confirm the info....

There is DMT or there is 5-MEO...
5-MEO is much stronger so it is important to know which of the 2 we have...
Whether made naturally or synthetically, there shouldn't really be any differences, some people report minor changes in visuals but scientificaly, they should be similar.

Now with all the different extraction methods, I have no clue as to if they change the effect of the drug or if they only affect the purity and color of the substance.

I'll have to research more on if it is possible to extract 5-MEO from a DMT plant instead of DMT, and so far, it seems those are the only 2 DMT options but I may be wrong.

I'll try and find more info tomorow.

well there are many DMT options but the only one that is endogenous is N,N-DMT. 5MeODMT is waay faster and instills a tiny bit of panic and fear into the user while NN-DMT is way smoother and more forgiving. 5MeODMT- the power, NN-DMT- the glory. thats as far as SWIM knows. SWIM prefers NN DMT but also loves 5MeODMT.

anything with the DMT molecule connected is technically a form of DMT. they just have different properties and characteristics.
