Is SWIMs lifestyle be leading to impotence?
Last night, SWIM was put in a position that most men would dream of — one large bed, three other women, and plenty of passion.
However he had extreme difficulty getting and maintaining an erection This has been a slight problem for SWIM for a while, but it seems to be getting worse as time passes. SWIM smokes (a bit more than half a pack a day), drinks plenty of coffee, consumes alcohol once in a while, and within the past month, started snorting heroin two to three times a week. SWIM also does ecstasy and other drugs (weed, adderrall, cocaine on ocassion) once in a blue moon, but he already knows that ecstasy makes it nearly impossible to get an erection so he only rolls on nights where he intend on not having sex. SWIM also has a blood circulation condition known as orthostatic hypotension, in which he has a low heart rate and low blood pressure. It isn't severe however and he takes no medications for it — in fact, he hasn't felt many of its effects (passing out) in quite some time. He also does not get as much sleep as he should. SWIM would otherwise consider himself to be in good physical shape. He has gone to lengths such as buying vibrating cock rings as an excuse to use a cock ring, but they don't help much. Do other SWIMmers think that a lifestyle change is due in order for SWIM to be able to get it up again? Or do they feel that perhaps he should see a doctor and start doing small doses of Viagra? This is what heroin does to you. As well as destroy your soul from the inside

Re: Is SWIMs lifestyle be leading to impotence?
Assuming SWIY is still reasonably young and in decent enough health otherwise, SWIM doesn't think that anything SWIY's doing (bar the E) should be giving SWIY a real problem with an errection.
SWIM definitely back the idea of getting clean, or at least reasonably clean , and doing a test. SWIM hears hypotension can give one problems getting it up, and seems to recall something from the back of his head that says hypotension meds can have an effect akin to viagra. SWIY may definitely wanna check that out if even when clean SWIY can't manage it. Personally SWIM has experianced some problems keeping it up, although thats more when he's been trying to fuck WHILE high, which is more a matter of interest and energy than physical ability, but it still pisses him off, afterall SWIM has a reputation... Hope SWIYs problem gets sorted. I feel for ya man. |

Re: Is SWIMs lifestyle be leading to impotence?
SWIM has cut down smoking and has been dope free for a couple days before having sex and there definitely has been progress. He now knows that a lifestyle change is in order (SWIM is going to quit heroin anyway) in order for him to get back to his sexual peak

Re: Is SWIMs lifestyle be leading to impotence?
It's called performance anxiety. Swim is only 20 and has had that issue when attempting to have sex before. Swiy just needs to stay comfortable. Swiy should have got one them to give oral starting off. It helps. What may have also helped is getting some experience with one of the girls before jumping in bed with all 3 of them, so that you would've had a little less anxiety going with the situation.

Re: Is SWIMs lifestyle be leading to impotence?
Perhaps the OP, like most other men, WAS merely dreaming.
But seriously, yes. Smoking cigarettes, drinking alcohol, and snorting heroin are all habits which can lead to difficulty sustaining an erection. However, it cannot be judged from the factors you provided alone. Your general health and age would be far more important contributing factors to your impotence than 'habits.' Ignore the childish one. This forum is a lot nicer than than that john...
SWIY should maybe take a break from drugs for a short period of time and see if the problem still occurs. If so, pop and see the doctor and he may be able to give SWIY better advice, as well as Viagra. All the best! |
