Night Sweats

SWIM has noticed multiple times that when he was clean from alcohol and cannabis, a day or two into non-use, he would have sweat pouring out of him for hours on end at night. Swim recently came off a period of use and has been experiancing this. Now these night sweats occur for days. So during swims current period of non-use of alcohol/night sweats swim smoked a blunt and several bowls one night and the night sweats didnt occur. Swim has strong habitual "addiction" to cannabis and gets cravings for it. Swim was wondering if anyone has any experiances with night sweats in alcohol or cannabis.

Re: Night Sweats

indeed swim tells me he understands this whole sweating thing.

First he though things were fine, then the whole body starts to cold sweat. Yes at night it is particularly irritating because you probably will loose sleep over this. The feeling of the cold sweat is a very horrible feeling and I sympathise.

No matter how much wiping the sweat it always seems to come pouring back. Sometimes there is a case of even sweating through cloths.

Unfortunately this is one sign of being on booze then suddenly not drinking. The withdrawals are common amongst drinkers if you abruptly stop for whatever reason.

SWIM suggests just trying to rest up and keep a towel beside him in bed or where he lays.

And stay hydrated, thats optimum, although understanding it can be hard when you are coming down and not wanting to eat or drink.
