Anyway of all the opiate based drugs , heroin, painkillers etc.

What is the one opiate based drug with the most severe withdrawils.

I've had went through w.d.s from dilaudid on numerous occaisions, to the point after four years & months of use, in every different method also. To come to a choice to give up my script.

Just recently a friend and I were discussing what we thought had more severe withdrawil symptoms. We could'nt figure out , even using "references online" which was harder to come off of , Heroin or painkillers both from the I.V. method.

So if anyone knows the difference could you please let me know?

well everyone is different.

one thing i do know is that methadone withdrawls last a lonnnggg time.
i would say heroin, morhpine, hydromorphone and oxycodone probably
produce the most severere opiate withdrawls. but there are so many
opiates it's difficult to be sure.

Ahh, but heroin with a combined benzo habit, now that's hell on wheels...

Sorry about the question comin off like it did. But to be percise,of the two, opiates based pills, or just regular heroin. Both using the I.V. method, which is the one to cause the worst withdrawils.

By opiate based pills I mean Hydromorphone, Oxycontin, Morphine Sulphate, and Morphine.

I think that when the question is phrased like that the logical answer is that the dosage of the drugs is more important to determining the degree of WD's than the actual brand itself. Even the best WD is still hell.

Alright ,in my own use of the opiate I.V. method, I was at a very high dosage. I used to get my own script of dilaudid 8's , and i was cranking 24 to 28 pills in the run of a day, but I should also add that it has taken 4 years to get to this level of tolorance.

I've only tried heroin a few times, it's not easy to get in my area. Pills however used to be very easy to find, as for now they're becomming harder and harder to acquire.

So again to rephrase the question , out of the two forms of opiates both being at a very high tolorance, which has a harder withdrawil ?

At that level the withdrawal is going to be horrible no matter what. Dilaudid and H are almost the same. I think that any difference in the withdrawl will come down to personal opinion rather than fact. If you are about to kick, good luck man - In your situation go get on Methadone. It will minimize the hell.

Did kick back in Feb. , went on methadone for a short term program for nine days. But actually did'nt get med assited for the first three days, And it was "Hell" . Still dabble with it now and then, not at all often , don't wanna go back where I was, that really sucked comin off them.

I have a spinal core injury, and still have pain, eventually I'll be back on pain killers full time again, by the sounds of my doc, it'll be within the next month mabey two.

Not doing the I.V. method like I was before, think I'll actually listen to my doc this time. Or at least try very hard to.

I got through the months of May and June completely clean of any intoxicants of any kind, so now I know that I have at least some willpower.

But to go back to the original thought, I've heard that pills are harder too come off of then heroin, at a high tolorance for both. Just looking for an opinion, ortoo see if there are facts on this subject .
