GHB/GBL a Novel Sedative?

SWIM would like to know if other SWIYers think that GHB/GBL is a novel sedative that will continue to be used/abused due to it being one of the only sedatives (other than alcohol/opiates) that raises dopamine levels (due to many reports). Or does SWIY think that it will eventually die out like so many other sedative/hypnotics such as methaqualone?

Re: GHB/GBL a Novel Sedative?

Swim thinks it will continue to be popular as along with the dopamine effects it enhances sex so much. Anything that does that will continue to be popular. I imagine that in the UK it will become slightly less popular now that GBL is a restricted chemical as those that want or need to remain on the right side of the law will move on to other things! Also with GBL becomming less available there will be far fewer people converting it to GHB.
