Effects - Drinking alcohol while on fentanyl patch

I just have a question about using the fentanyl patch. I was recently prescribed the 25mcg/hr for use over using morphine. I was needing to know if anyone had any experiences while using this medication and drinking alcohol. While searching the internet i didn't find much info on what would happen if i drank casually while on this medication except for dizziness and drowsiness. If anyone has had any experiences i would be interested in knowing.

First of all, no one on this forum uses drugs. When refering to drug use, it is Someone Who Isn't Me. When SWIM would do fentanyl he was abusing it and would get very sedated/euphoric, stupid combo though. It's very dangerous and both will potentate respiratory depression and could in general lead you into some dangerous waters. Depending on what kind of person SWIY is and how high your tolerance to fentanyl is, they might be able to enjoy a glass of their choice. Still unrecommended but SWIM would consult with their physician first.
