New to LSD: What should SWIM expect from their first trip?

Well i want to try LSD im ready for it, I was wondering what i should
really ecspect cause i want a first hand opions, I plan on doing it
at Nelson Ledges in Ohio....Everyone up there has Acid,Shrooms
and anything you can think of...I jsut planed on taking 2 hits and
walking around the camp grounds cause theres paramedics on the scene so
i figured if anythign bad happened theres other poeple there to calm me
down or if anything bad ill have medical attention quickly..Thanks for

First of all, don't do two hits on your first time. Just the one should do because there's no way of knowing how you'll react. Acid is very powerful and the first time I did it, I had two hits but only used the one because I was a little freaked for a while. Get ready to be tested mentally. As with any other strong psychadelic, there will probably be high moments of enjoyment and some low moments of anxiety. Try to remember that it's just another drug and no matter how intense it gets, it WILL wear off.

Have someone watch over you if you are going to drop at any type of
large festival. Dropping by yourself, with the intent of simply
wandering, is just asking to get FUCKED</span>. You are putting yourself in needless danger of getting taken advantage of, mugged, raped, (insert unpleasant act here)</span>.
If you are dropping by yourself at something like Wakarusa, Bonnarroo,
or 10k being able to handle the LSD trip itself shouldnt be a
worry. What other people choose to do should be. Use common
sense.

I would advocate having an experienced user keep an eye on you, during the entire trip. Someone whom you know and trust, who will ride this thing out with you. It is especially comforting to know there is someone making sure no harm will come to you, when you're in the midst of tripping. Take special heed to OiledMandible's warnings as they are very real concerns regardless of your sex. This can be an extremely rewarding experience if approached with the proper respect and preparation.
