Swim tried mushrooms for the first time in his life last tuesday. Swim and a few of his friends got 6gr of some Icelandic shrooms. http://www.drugs-forum.com/photopost...php?photo=6454 same type as these to be precise.
Swim didn't really know what to expect, he'd never done mushrooms before and was semi afraid of getting a bad trip.
Swim took half of his shrooms or around a gram at around 8pm. At 8.30 he was outside with his friends buying weed. At that point swim starts to notice some changes and is starting to feel weird. Swim wasn't really worried or scared at that point, everything was going smooth and it seemed the night was going to be a blast.
When they get home they roll a joint and swim takes a smoke, at that point swim was really into it and had started to notice how things were changing all a round him. There was one abstract painting on the wall. It had lots of different colors, 4 eyes and the colors kind of formed a circle. Swim starts observing the picture when everything starts turning and the room all of a sudden starts breathing. Swim wasn't able to take his eyes of the painting and the more he watched it the more he started talking to himself. Swim started asking himself questions. "Who are you?" "What are you doing with your life?" Swim found this very uncomfortable and started avoiding these thoughts as hard as he could. Even though he tried to fight them back it didn't work, swim was stuck. He started going through his life, started looking at it. He started looking towards the future, he felt like he didn't know anything at all and couldn't feel anything but fear.
Shortly after that swim starts panicking, he doesn't talk, he doesn't say anything. He was on the sofa, holding his blanket over his head and covering his own ears. He was absolutely terrified, he kept on thinking if he was going insane. What would happen, what was wrong with him. He had no clue what was going on and was feeling horrible. He started asking his friends to call an ambulance. He litterly thought that he was going insane. He was like this from 9pm - 2am in the morning. At that point his friends tell him that they have to take him out for a walk so he'd be able to get back down to earth. Swim started feeling a lot better after that and the shrooms started to fade away. The panic was gone and he could see that he still had his sanity. They get home, smoke a joint and chat until around 7 am where they all fall a sleep in the living room.
Now, the day after this trip is what swim found weird. He was still avoiding thinking the same things he thought the day before, he was very depressed and felt like shit over all. Swim went to see a few of his friends he's known from childhood. He had a very long talk to his closest friend, which told swim his opinion. Swim hadn't really been doing anything at all for the past 8 years. Mainly being unemployed not doing anything at all besides playing video games and getting drunk. Last year he started really smoking weed and has been a stoner ever since with the occasional cocaine/speed use.
Here's what swim finds very weird about all of this. Now swim feels fantastic and hasn't felt this way in a very long time. He started thinking about his trip again. On his trip he started thinking about his future and himself so much, he completely changed his view and opinions on many things after this. Swim has today signed up to school next year, he gave away all his weed and just doesn't feel like he needs to use anything at all. Swim isn't sure, but he feels like something during that trip really changed him. He's never felt this way, he finally feels like he's thinking the right way and that things are looking in the right direction for him. Swim told his father about this trip and he was quite shocked hearing that his father had a dream about him that very same night.
In the dream he was standing outside, there was a thin layer of snow over everything. All of a sudden swim comes from under the snow. But swim was dead.
When swim heard that he started to really ask some questions, what happened that night. Swim had a terrible trip on those shrooms, but he feels so great after it. He hasn't felt like this in a long time. He's wondering if it has something to do with how much he was thinking about his own life while on the shrooms. He feels like his entire brain chemistry has changed, like he's thinking in a completely different way. He's positive, feels good and is really looking forward to going back to university. He is a lot more logical and it feels like he's gained more self control.
Swim does realize that this story might sound quite unbelieveable and like something you'd see happen in a movie. He's actually thinking if he's still tripping and this might all be a dream. It seems so unreal to him. But he's very happy today at least. Happy in a way he hasn't been in a very very long time.
