Herbal Highs just "marketed" ethnos??
Im curious as to what physoactive substances are in these "herbal highs". Is it just active ingredients from various ethos put together in pills and powders?? If not, what are the active ingredients?
Also, Im not talking about things like spice in this post, as I know what is in that. Thanks! |

Re: Herbal Highs just "marketed" ethnos??
If you would like a useful reply or explanation, then it would be good to rethink our question and lay out exactly what you are talking about and what you want to know about which products.
Your question is far to generic / unspecific. If I ask you what the active substance in plants are, then would this be a question you can easily give an helpful answer to? |

Re: Herbal Highs just "marketed" ethnos??
Okay, are there common ingredients that are in various "herbal ectasy" products or is it really just dependent on the specific brand? Im not talking about things like caffeine, or typical ingredients like ginseng or taurine or things that would typically be in energy drinks. If there aren't common ingredients in the before mentioned product then disregard this question.

Re: Herbal Highs just "marketed" ethnos??
There are two types of legal xtc type products on the market:
1) Those that are truly herbal, containing extracts of psychoactive plants, amino acids and vitamins. These are generally stronger than energy drinks, but weaker than real street xtc pills. These products are reasonably safe for healthy people so long as they follow the instructions. 2) Those that are spiked with a research chemical, usually unlisted although some Piperazine based pills do list actual ingredients. These products can be very dangerous and should be approached with extreme caution. Most (not all) Dutch, American and New Zealand products are herbal. Most (not all) UK and Irish products are non-herbal and contain unlisted research chemicals. Before consuming any product marketed as herbal or legal xtc, it would pay to search drugs-forum to find out if the product is herbal or whether it in fact contains a research chemical. If the product contains a research chemical, then one needs to research that research chemical on drugs-forum and decide if one wants to risk ingesting that product or not. A safer option may be to purchase the research chemical by itself from a RC vendor, however in theory, a 'legal high' type product should (but often does not) contain a standardized dosage as well as vitamins and amino's to minimize some of the research chemicals negative or harmful side effects. |
