Vaporizers - SWIM's first homemade vaporizer :]

So SWIM has been looking around for the best way to smoke pure JWH-018 and pure THC and it seems that the vaporizer seems to keep coming up in most discussions. SWIM has recently bought a quarter gram of 018 and will soon be getting a gram of pure buddha-dust so he wanted to make his first vaporizer and share it with you all :].

Dispite 4-5 years of marijuana and synthetic use, SWIM is yet to use a vaporizer.. so should be quite a treat from his normal wooden pipes :].

SWIM took a small lightbulb and started taking the small metal cap off the top (or bottom) with a pair of scissors (you'll quickly realise SWIM knows nothing about lightbulbs so can't tell you what size or make it was if you were interested).

Once the cap was off, SWIM used a screwdriver, knife and large safety pin to remove all of the black, glass-like material out of the top (or bottom) of the bulb.

Once out, SWIM was then able to push and break the "inside glass bit" with a screwdriver. This glass part inside the actual bulb is what holds the filament in place - SWIM doesn't know what it's called? It took SWIM a little while to break that inner-glass piece down into small enough pieces that it would come out of the newly made opening, but he got there eventually.

In many online (and much better) TEK's on how to make a vaporizer out of a bulb, it will now say to put salt into the bulb and shake around to remove the soft white substance which makes the bulb glow more evenly. SWIM's bulb of choice was actually a clear bulb to begin with, but he put some salt in there and gave it a good shake anyway, just to make sure there wasn't anything unsafe coating the inside of the bulb.

After that, SWIM washed the bulb with some warm water.. making sure no salt or loose glass was left inside the bulb.

Instead of attaching an elaborate mouthpiece to the bulb (normally including a bottle top and a pen) SWIM finds that the thread on the bulb is large enough to not get hot under use, so SWIM can just hold that and toke straight from the bulb instead of faffing around with the bottle cap each time he wants to fill or empty the thing.

SWIM has also punched a rushhole (carb) into the thread. No real reason for this, but originally SWIM was going to use a mouthpiece and has been told a carb is needed if you do (to allow airflow when breathing in).
