Just found out my boyfriend has been using, probably consistently since last year...we never did have sex very often, maybe once a week, tops. Now, not at all. Not for six months. So, my question is, does meth make you fellows impotent?


He says he's still attracted to me, and he says he's not getting it anywhere else.....but Mom always said, "If they're not getting it at home, they're getting it somewhere else."


He's lied (a LOT) about his using...is he lying about this,too? (Obviously, there are individual differences between men. I just need to know if there's a trend...)

Nadingo- No, actually just the opposite. Meth makes me fuck like a madman. It's harder to get hard in the begining, but once it's up it's on.


The difference lies in the desire to have sex; with meth just fantasizing about sex can be enough. I have a couple of friends, one married and the other single, who would rather fantasize and masturbate than have sex with their wife/girlfriend. While this may seem strange, meth has this wierd effect on the sex drive. The sexual thoughtsthat crop up after being up for a couple of dayscan often be pretty sick, and by that point normal sex doesn't really appeal all that much.


It is NOT a reflection on you, it's just a manifestation of amphetamine related psychosis, which mimics certain neurosis--some of which are sexual in nature. My girlfriend got me away from these sick thoughts by making herself available when I began to have them, that way I could get it quickly out of my system and not dwell on it for days as meth gives one the ability to do. It's possible for a sexual fantasy to entwine the mind of a tweaker for days at a time, it literally becomes an obsession that you can't let go of until you get satisfaction.


Barring that, the wife of one of the friends I mentioned got by it by having sex with her husband while he was sleeping. He'd usually wake up halfway through, and by that time would be perfectly content with finishing the deed. This would break him our of the obsessive part of the tweek, and they would get along much better. So you could also give that a try.

Shit, since I have never had sex, I would have to say sex. Ive shot coke, ice, and heroin numerous times (addicted to heroin for about 2 yrs), and it was all well and good, but for some reason I drive myself crazy thinking about sex. I just cant even begin to imagine what it feels like, its what I want more than anything in the world right now (im 19, im not a bad looking guy or anything....i just have bad luck w/girls). I would definitely say drugs can't compare to sex. The combination is of course great. The crash you get after sex often seems to be way worse than the normal crash on drugs. This of course depends on how much and what drug you do but sex definitely is a strong "drug". In my opinion nothing can compare to "good" sex. Of course if the sex isn't good than many drugs might make you feel better.
