Hill Street Blues - Amsterdam

The weed here is only average, so Cowboy would recommend that a new tourist go elsewhere to buy weed (Grey Area, Green House, Dampkring, etc.). For smoking environment, however, Cowboy and his homies would much rather come here than anywhere else. It is one of the largest coffeeshops that he has seen, with 3 different smoking areas: 1 in the basement and 2 on the ground floor (one of them in an enclosed room with a pool table). By far the most fun atmosphere around, partially due to the fact that the management allows all patrons to write whatever they want on any surface in the coffeeshop that is accessible to the public (except windows and mirrors). This creates a very relaxing atmosphere that makes any visitor feel at home. In fact, it reminds Cowboy of his old neighbour's garage in Long Beach, CA, minus the dog shit and urine smell. They have as many drinks as one could want, and the coffee is actually pretty good (order milk on the side because Cowboy thinks the staff always put too much, but this is just his opinion).
