Dose - First time on mescaline, advice please.

Hello,

I have been very interested in psychadelics for a long time after experiencing hallucinations whilst on MDA, and it has come about that I have an opportunity to experience my first use of a classical hallucinagen. I have chosen mescaline for my drug of choice simply because it is easy to obtain.

I simply have a few questions, and any help is greatly appreciated.

I will be tripping with 2 close friends at my friends house (there will be no other people in the house until late at night), we are planning to purchase 20 grams of San Pedro cactus flesh each and consume it early in the morning, perhaps around 10AM, meaning the trip should be over by night-time.

Is 20 grams a good start dose? I was thinking perhaps maybe only 10 grams at first, as this is my first experience with a strong psychedelic (Bar Salvia, which I have used many times).

What are the chances of a bad trip? As I said I will be tripping with 2 friends of similar experience in drug use and I am excited about finally ingesting a drug I have heard so much about. We are contemplating purchasing some valium in the case of bad vibes.

I am a very experienced smoker of marijuana, Salvia D and MDMA use.
