Is Online RC reselling business expanding?
Dear SWIY,
A Turkish trader warned me that RC trading is becoming more common on the web... has anyone heard of recent legal action against RC resellers? Has anyone noticed an increase in the population of online resellers? Some of the websites look downright criminal (selling outright controlled chems, such as 2-CB)... could any of these be legal traps looking to bust customers? Isn't it still massively risky from a legal perspective to trade RCs online? (unless you are a Chinese chemical company) |

Considering the deaths which just occurred from "2C-B-FLY" just a day or two ago (in Denmark and USA), I'd say things may start to heat up around here, legally.

Link can be found at If you have ordered 2C-B-fly from Haupt-RC, then your life may be in danger
And one's story: Tainted 2C-B-FLY: a fatal trip in San Jose, Cali |

Re: Is Online RC reselling business expanding?
I have heard the legal situation of RCs is going to get worse in China from here to 2010. That should stop the RC market for a little while, until it moves somewhere else...

That would make sense, considering recent events.

Re: Is Online RC reselling business expanding?
indeed. there were signs of new "specialised" chemical outlets popping up Malaysia and others south-east asian countries recently.

Re: Is Online RC reselling business expanding?
There's certainly been growth in the RC market and in the number of outlets for them over the past couple of years. The number of RCs finding their way out onto the street seems to be on the rise too as dealers recognize they can make a decent margin. 2Cs seem to be ubiquitously available across north America, while in Europe the beta-ketones are doing huge business. It's a real boom/bust economy though - another wave of Web Tryp-like assaults is inevitable and the market will contract again for a while when it does happen. The most worrying aspect to me is the growth in the number of vendors who seem to be pretty clueless about how to do things right (e.g. Haupt). Don't get me wrong, there's always been bad vendors, but from my perspective the number of sketchy ones seems to be growing much faster than the number of reliable ones.
What the authorities may not have realized is that all they're doing by clamping down is driving the RC market further underground. It forces people to be secretive about their sources and prevents open discussion on their legitimacy. This plays straight into the hands of the bad vendors, as some people will take a risk on the first source they come across, regardless of how suspect their site may be. I wonder how many people would've used Haupt if they were aware just how amateurish his operation was? |

Do you have any more information, or a link about Web Tryp? The wikipedia article is fairly bare bones, and I can't seem to find out much about it... it seems very interesting. |

Re: Is Online RC reselling business expanding?
The least that could happen is you get scammed out of your monies.
The worst that could happen is you die. Clamping down on things isn't gonna help anyone really. |

Re: Is Online RC reselling business expanding?
RC sales are definitely on the rise... A dark creature of the night has been watching a large number of small RC vendors popping up in the last couple of years and has been in close personal contact with a couple. This creature has very well figured out that they are just trying to take advantage of the money to be had in selling these. They have very little experience in 'dealing' of these substances including the dangers and how to protect themselves...
This creature has no experience with Chinese vendors but has noticed a dramatic increase in European vendors and Canadian vendors. However he knows his friends stick domestically. Some of these vendors have gone so far as to explicitly sell illegal items assuming trappings and codings of the internet will keep them untraceable. They have sold such things as E, K, and mescaline in addition to the hot items going around now, Mephadrone and synthetic cannibinoids. This creature agrees with those posting that things will heat up soon... Last edited by Dracula; 15-10-2009 at 01:43. Reason: Spelling |
