Stealth Smoking

Swim has noticed a lot of posts about stealth smoking lately. A lot of swimmers have to worry about other people catching onto their habits. This is a list of ideas swim’s used, or has friends of friends that use it with success. They will be listed in order of effectiveness, although everyone is situational.

Carbon Filtered Vapor Bong
Roor makes carbon filters for their bongs. Vapor Brothers makes “H2O Adapters” that allows a swimmer to connect their vaporizer to their bong. Add the two and the result is a bong that carbon filters before swimmers enjoy their hit. This is great for smoking in a dorm room, or anyplace where a swimmer can typically smoke in, but occasionally needs to have the room become clean quick.

Benefits:
*No flame

*The vapor is sploofed before being inhaled. Meaning perfect filtration every time with maximum connivance.

*Virtually no smell, the herb will smell stronger then the hits.

Disadvantages:
*Bulky

*Expensive

Carbon Filter (Sploof tube)
The basic design is to fill a cardboard tube with dryer sheets and activated carbon, and blow all the smoke through that. While this method works alone, it is much stronger when combined with a vaporizer or a box fan. Make sure not to allow the bowl to smoke, as that will smell just as harsh.

Benefits:
*Room is left actually smelling better than before.

*Virtually no smell if the herb doesn’t leave a cloud of smoke when the hit is over.

*Cheap

Disadvantages:
*Rouge smoke is a real issue.

Hand Held Vaporizers
Basically they sell vaporizers that are the size of pipes. It’s great for toking up a bathroom or a room with good circulation. Make sure to give the bathroom decent circulation for 15 minutes after vaporing. Prices vary. Vapor Genies are a good buy, but meth pipes will work too.

Benefits:
*Low smell. Different then burning herb.

*Cheap, depending on the pipe.

*Low inventory, easy to stash.

Disadvantages:
Getting the things to work is a real skill.

*Smell still exists.

Dugout
This is stealth in a different way. Essentially it is a metal chillum that looks like a cigarette. It is usually sold with a dugout box that stores the chillum and allows for easy bowl packing. It is stealth simply in looks, not smell. The best way to use them for stealth smoking is a rather risky way. Smoke it while driving. Swim firmly believes that if all the smoke goes out a cracked window, and visine and breath mints are available, then there would be no reason to make anyone suspicious.

Benefits:
*All visual. Swimmers pass the glance test.

Disadvantage:
*Something needs to be done about the smell.
