Dose - Hydrocodone 5/500 + alcohol

Not sure where this should go but Swim got his hands on a bunch of 5/500 hydrocodones. He is going to a party tomorrow and wants to have a good time. With drink say only 3-4 beers, how many hydrocodone should Swim take to have a crazy but safe time. He weighs 140 lbs

I know its a downer but SWIM has done oxy/drink and has been fucked up and felt like partying, so he thinks he will have a good time here

This is a question swimmers have seen asked around here time after time, and the answer is, there is no correct answer! It all depends on swiy's opiate tolerance, alcohol tolerance, and body chemistry, which varies greatly from person to person to say the least! But with that aside, assuming swiy has NO opiate tolerance, swiy should be fine taking two pills on the way to the party, then have a couple drinks once he/she has arrived. Then, about thirty minutes after the second drink swiy could take two more if swiy feels up to it. But the main point here is to go slllooooowww!!!! Cant stress that enough, go slow, at least until swiy gets a feel for the drug!! And p.s., alcohol changes the way almost EVERY drug affects ones body, so even if swiy has done em before, it could be a totally different trip this time!!! And oh yeah, did swim say go slow?!?!?!

Alright thanks. Swim will go slow forsure. He should just pop them orally correct? Other then snorting/poping some oxy awhile back he has zero experience with these. I know it will speed up the process, but will the effects change much if i snort a few lines?

Hey now, watch the self incrimination! But that question's answer is simple....personal preference! when swim has more than 8 or 9 pills like this, he'll insufflate one or two to start with, then take three or four orally. But all this contradicts what swim said in the first post because he's talking bout himself insteada swiy!

To much of it could be a deadly mix.. but if taken in small amounts and slow your okay. SWIM will give it a try and tell you how it goes tonight!

SWIY will probably do better by not snorting, but ingesting the pills. There is some form of binder via tylenol / acetaminophen hence the 500.

Alcohol & tylenol can be hard on the liver especially over long periods of time. Ocassional use would probably be o.k., but it's not suggested to combine the two. If SWIY had unknown liver issues, it could be putting un-needed stress on the body.


Save 1 or 2 Hydrocodones for the morning to help out if SWIY would have a headache. Before going to sleep, it would probably be good to drink some water to help flush the system.

Swiy should do his liver a big favour and do a cold-water extraction on the vicodin before consuming the hydrocodone, so as to get rid of the nasty acetaminophen (APAP). Mixing APAP and alcohol is a sure-fire way to damage your liver, so please try and avoid this mixture.

Either that or insufflate the pills like fuzelogic suggested, though that would be an uncomfortable amount of powder to get up swiy's nose! It also wouldn't last as long, so this might not be as effective if swiy wants it to last for a good amount of the party.

personally, swim wouldn't insufflate swiy's pills since they also contain apap! considering that the oral bioavailability of hydrocodone is so high, it'll be just as good taken orally. swiy COULD take a handful of tums a few minutes before taking his/her pills if swiy wanted it to hit a bit harder/faster.

In the end SWIM snorted one, poped 1, and just drank a shit load of vodka. Other than being completely gone and cheated on his girlfriend (that he has never done) with a couple girls he had a really fun night. Now SWIM has to do some apologizing

I'm surprised swiy was able to snort that much burning powder. If it has apap, just take it orally, or do the cwe.

SWIM regularly drinks and combines hydrocodone with alcohol. The trick in his opinion is to start slow, and ramp up, ALWAYS starting with the hydrocodone. He also says that beer or weaker than normal cocktails are a preferred way to go, so you can gauge how it's affecting you better.

Tell your friend good luck and be safe with it, and wear protection with multiple girlies.
