Dirty Kava....

SWIM has a monkey that ordered a bunch of kava, a few lbs of different strains. Most of it was much darker than usual and either had dirt added in or the roots weren't washed very well. I was told the taste was horrendous and could barely be downed without throwing up. Has anybody else had bad experiences with ordering nasty kava??
