All in all SWIM finds the forums extremely interesting but is wondering if there is a post on the possible antidodes to some of the Ethnobotanicals. SWIM found that we all describe experiences etc but what needs to be done if someone by accident took too much LSA from Morning glory seeds, or smoked himself into a stupor with whatever.
For many drugs one gets a possible antidote list. Would it not be also wise to be clued up on what to take to bring us back down to earth should the need arise (god forbid such emergencies should befall anyone).
So from a previous post SWIM had gathered that apparently fresh milk is quite effective in ending a mushroom trip and also found that a good cannabis trip can be parked with copious amounts of sugar in the form of soft drinks and sweets.
What about LSA, Jimson weed (datura) etc SWIM wonders?
Who ever said fresh milk ends a mushroom tripp needs to be hit with some heave neg rep, that's a hella old wives tale. The sugar and pot thing is dubious at best and purely anecdotal.

This is hardly the first concern when it comes to many of these plants, LSA and Datura can have serius, if not deadly effects on the body.
Datura effects the heart, treatment of cardiac problems should NOT be attempted at home. A dose of benzos or anti psychotic may be able to settle down an out of control user, but frankly, outside of micro doses, datura isn't to be toyed with. More info on micro dosing can be found in the night shades forum.
LSA OD's can result in vaso-constriction, that is blood vessels become to small and flow stops. This stars with coldness, numbness, and bluing of the extremities. In time this can result in necrosis (death) of the tissue, leading to gangrene and amputation. For this reason LSA needs to be handled carefully and it is not to be taken above the recommended doses. Caffeine is a vaso-dilator and may be useful if these symptoms start to show, though we have yet to find journal articles proving it is an effective treatment, and if symptoms persist, one should go to the doctors. Massage, and applied heat to the extremities is also useful.
Cacti: Shouldn't be dangerous to health, if someone is out of control, antipsychotics or benzo can be useful.
A note on calming someone with benzos. Benzos are short lived, often wearing out in an hour or two, when dealing with long lasting deleriants (datura) or psychedelics (cacti) there's a good chance the benzo will ware off before the tripp is over, and the person can resume their agitated state. With psychedelics (not deleraints) many times the person is agitated because they are dealing with deep seated psychological issues they are being forced to confront, this is an excellent time for them to heal themselves. When you use another drug for them to ignore the root cause, it's sure to surface again in the future.
