Percs and alcohol

i have three pills of 7.5oxy/500apap, i plan on eating all three, does anyone think that if i drank a half pint of 80 proof liquor on top of it that it would be very bad for my liver? could you go into detail?

Thats only 1500mg tylenol along with the alcohol. I believe 3000mg is the point where you have to watch your intake of tylenol. I have taken 10mg oxycodone along with half a bottle of wine and had no ill effects on my liver. Not nearly as much as you but I do weigh only 120lbs. I think youll be in good shape, liver damage usually occurs with long term strain on the liver, rarely from one night(unless you go overboard). Try to consume the alcohol in a longer period of time rather than downing it in 20 minutes. Thats about as much detail as I can give you. Good luck

haha anytime bro. The liver is a strong organ and can take a hell of a beating. For July 4th I took the rest of my 7.5/750 vicodins (swallowed 4 of them) and my liver was absolutely fine. I won't go over 3000mg though. I read your trip report, seems like you had a hell of a night. Be safe man and enjoy... How did you like that flexeril? Just got my hands on some but my first few experiences with a benzo (xanax) werent good and I havent tried it since. Thanks

I routinely take 5 10mg Vikes or 10mg Norcos and drink whatever.
Haven't had any problem, tho I take a lot of time off from this sort of
behavior from time to time.



BTW, 5 at once, often as many as 15 - 20 a day.



That said, I don't plan to do that anymore

Mixing downers can be dangerous. Your liver being the least of your
worries. Not sure if you have a tolerance or not...... but I would
watch out and not get carried away with the alcohol.

On a bus ride in Mexico I ate about 10 percs and drank 6-8 tall boy
tecates. Fun, no problem. Was taking a lot of opiates at
the time.



It's good to be caustious, tho the best way, IMO, is not to take too
much of either (alcohol or downers) all at once. Don't swallow 5
percs and drink tequila. I did the above over a 6 hour bus ride,
eating 2 percs at a time, etc.

When i ever get a chance to take some hydrocodone/oxycodone i always like to mix them with 1-2mg of Xanax and drink just one drink, maby more later on after they all kick in, and have a nice bowl to top it all off. i find that combo heavenly. Just dont be dumb when mixing downers and get caryed away. Know you Substance, Know your Dose, Know your body.

mike177 has said it perfectly, know your dose, know your body, know your tolerance. ive drank and taken quite a bit of oxycodone, but the next day i have a opiate hangover and im throwing up like mad. its like my body rejects any food i try and put in it,.
